Agreed, FiOS by verizon is absolutely amazing. I just got their gig speeds, and they are better than comcast. But good video as usual

Do you carry groceries with you on the Metro or on you bicycle? Do you use Uber/Lyft for the once a week trip to the Harris Teeter? It seems like this would be a downside of not owning a car.
@TripHacksDC3 жыл бұрын
I personally walk but others use a bike with large panniers or other creative solutions.

Same for rental, buying and utilities in my current area. I currently live in Tampa and the rental prices have skyrocketed here.

Also we don’t have good public transportation, with that being said you will pay more for transportation (gas, Uber/Lyft, bus) and the commute around the city as well. Tampa also have longer wait time for transportation options that you will choose. Ex: If you’re looking to live/work in the South Tampa area (Bayshore, Davis/Harbor Island, Palma Ceia, Culbreath Isle, Sunset Park) etc prices are high! Seminole/Tampa Heights has become trendy and prices have skyrocketed there as well.

Yes that is a bummer. My housing costs are high but transportation costs extremely low so it kind of cancels out.

@@KeziahWestwood so funny I just moved to dc from that area St. Petersburg to be specific, after covid I was like wth! And so many people are moving there. Town and country in Tampa still maybe relatively reasonable 🤷🏾♀️

Hey man, heading to DC in March and was wondering if you had recommendations for steakhouses near Capital One Arena. I’ve seen plenty of options online but would rather get an opinion from a local like you.
@TripHacksDC3 жыл бұрын
I don't really eat at steakhouses (DC has way better options) but if I was I'd probably go to Charlie Palmer Steak.
