For future moves I just recommend taping the Alex drawers shut and move the entire thing on a dolly. Save yourself the unpacking and repacking!

If I already knew I was going to keep everything I had in it I probably would've done that but I knew I was going to get rid of stuff :) plus I feel when unpacking it'll force me to declutter even more

When i moved last summer to my place now I literally freaked out. I had amassed so much makeup (thanks KZbin lol..) and had no idea where to begin or how to begin packing it all up (safely!) So what worked and not 1 thing even broke? Packing them into smaller boxes with lots of padding and bubble wrap in between. I made boxes for bronzer, highlighters, palettes, nail polish, etc. Super organized and fragile packed, calmed me down. But the best part was nothing broke at all!!! ;) Xx

I don't know if this has already been done or if you've done videos like it but I would love to see a series where you use old palettes that used to be extremely hyped up in the KZbin community but then something new came along, but we all still have them :) lol. Love you!!

i have a really good tip for decluttering items that fall into the "maybe" pile. put the stuff in a bag for a month or two and store it. if you don't feel the need to go use it while it's stored away, you don't really need it. also before you open up the bag after that month or two, try to remember everything you put in the bag. it will help you part with your things... it helped me!!

No judgement here Dana Ann. We all have spaces that are less than pristine; and there's no way to be neat and tidy while moving. Moving is stressful and time consuming. The unpacking although time consuming too is much more fun since you're finding new homes for all those makeup pretties. Enjoy your new place!

You could've kept the containers just take the makeup out and when it was dry or broken you could've put rubbing alcohol I broke my favorite eyeshadow palette and I just put some rubbing alcohol and it made it much better
