I’m still loving it. Just sharpened the blades yesterday before putting them away for the winter. This jig makes it so easy, I sharpen the neighbor’s blades too. Thanks for bringing this to market. Best of luck to you.

I was always told you don’t want your blades as sharp as a razor because they will actually dull faster by rolling the edge over. I was taught to get them to the sharpness of a butter knife or a little more and your good to go.

I've read that too and it makes sense...but I always put a really sharp edge on them anyway. My grass gets shredded. The edges don't roll over though, they just get dull. I like to sharpen at least once/month.

I finally bit the bullet and bought the sharpener. Man what a difference. Cuts sharpening time in half. I sharpen a lot of blades. If you’re on the fence about purchasing go ahead.

Oh yeah! It’s a game changer. It’s more expensive than some other options but it looks like it’ll last for generations.

I’ll check it out and maybe make a video of it. We unintentionally end up abusing our blades with rocks and large sticks…I’m not sure if a high end blade balancer would make sense for us. I appreciate the advice though. I like learning about new tools like this (new to me at least).

@@thelifeofriley7668 maybe check out some of the copy’s of it on Amazon then they are a lot cheaper but still a lot better then a nail.

What disc do you use?
@thelifeofriley7668 Жыл бұрын
Just whatever flap disc I happen to grab. I can’t remember which one I was using in this video. The 40 grit on my grinder now sharpens the blades quick.
