Wow, that lawn was crazy !! I did a crazy job like that last year. Landlord contacted me and said his tenants grass is crazy tall like that. Upon arrival and assessment I told him it's going to be 4X the rate. He needed it cut before the county issued him a citation for tall grass. He paid and said he's adding the bill to his tenants rent.

Rachel if you suffer from hay fever and pollen and you don`t like taking pills for it. get some dust masks from the D.I.Y. store and they should help. you both always do great work on your lawns and gardening a big big thumbs up

Usually when there's that much overgrowth, the grass underneath after being mowed will be brown. This grass was green as it can be 😎

I can’t remember what blower we had at the time but definitely a Stihl the weed eater was a 91r and the mower was our 22 toro because that’s all we could get into the yard.

What happens to the clippings of the grass you cut do you pick it up afterwards?

No we do our best to mulch them up. If it’s a client with a really nice lawn that we get behind on we would bag it if needed to be or we will blow any excess grass so it’s not sitting on the grass. Thanks for watching!

Put one of those Darwin's Grip bars on your weedwacker and your back will certainly thank you for it. Especially on jobs like this where you have to swing that trimmer so wide.

The bike bar models with the harness to the side clip, work very well on big work too because the clip holds the trimmers weight on both your shoulders and you can hold the handles lightly and swing it back and forth. I don't know why they are popular in the rest of the world but not in the US?

Yeah I haven't tried edging with mine yet, I have a stick edger that I edge with and with that darwin grip on it too and it's like a walk in the park.

@@karlcox9199 Yeah man, they're great. I haven't tried it on my weedeater to use the weedeater to edge but I have a stick edger and this grip is fabulous on it. It's good for weedeaters too but I don't know how it will be with the weedeater flipped upside down or on it's side to edge with the weedeater.

Maybe you didn’t contact this person so you guys are partly to blame but they surely could have called you before the lawn got to this point. Carl, great job with that trimmer. I’d have gone foreword in a yard that overgrown because I have an aversion to snakes. I still say you guys are an awesome team!

The Boss really needs to invest in a self-propelled walk-behind string trimmer for the employee. Would be able to knock down overgrown high grass twice as fast with less effort. It’s like a push mower on steroids!

Jeff Williams Normally we would charge about 200 to 250 for that but they were clients for a long time and we just figured they didn’t need us anymore because they never contacted us to start this season. So when they finally did we felt bad because they were selling the house and it had not been mowed anyway we charged them I think around 150 but it didn’t take that long to get done. I hope you looked up a toro dealer or atleast google tru-trac sulky. i put one on my 52. you can't believe the increase in productivity. you know walk behinds are not made for actually walking behind. so if your going to use one , get something that will unlock the mower's real ability and purpose. jeff williams

Don’t walk backwards when you are trimming!!! It isn’t safe at all cause you don’t know what is behind you and you could fall over and hurt yourself if you didn’t see something in the grass. And who knows how many reptiles and pest are in there

Hank Bridges there is no way at all to get a mower down there. And if I could, I wouldn’t use a rider. Lol I would use my 48” Ferris. If you would’ve paid attention to the vid I explain this.
