Hi William. The fahr drum mower we use is a really good mower and I would recommend it to anybody, its quite simple to use and easy to maintain. I recon you should use your dads mower until you have enough business to justify buying another. If the crops heavy then slow right down but keep the revs up, that should help stop the jamming up

cheers kieran. the 265 is still a great little tractor despite its age.The 690 in some of my other videos isnt so good as its turned into a rust bucket so we are changing it for a newer tractor soon . i love my hedges!

You can never beat a good well kept hedge and really does keep the wild life happy aswell, we try to keep our hedges trimmed tip top but its abit of a task really wen the contractor does it wen and if he can or borrow the neighbours hedge cutter, if you sale any of the massey ferguson's please do let me know i love my old massey's i sometimes drive a 675 with a 880 loader and she goes like a dream even though she has a tad bit of rust, old masseys like to rust from what ive experienced :(
