Really appreciated the drone footage, easy to see the improved layout of your sheds and barns. Looks great!

So true. I'd love to see an aerial tour of the entire property.
@jamesbrown87183 жыл бұрын
@@alabamacoastie6924 I agree would be a wonderful video to put out, to see all the fields and buildings. Even see all the farms they lease out to grow crops on. Explain how they came about, how long they been leasing them and if they are looking at purchasing more land. I just love watching this channel.
@KarlM743 жыл бұрын
Totally agree, seeing the "big picture" is very cool. Also, some of that footage might be good when you replace the profile picture, as the building layouts have changed from when the channel started! Nice addition to the farm, can't wait to hear how it improves your workflow.

You all have the most beautiful farm I think I have ever seen. The way the alfalfa flows in between The corn. I love seeing the drone views of your farm, just amazing.
@jamesbrown87183 жыл бұрын
I have a suggestion, why not do a video of aerial footage of the entire farm, explaining each building and fields, and if you all lease land or farms to grow crops on, and how those properties came about and why. And if you all are looking to expand the farm or purchase more land to plant on. What it takes when you purchase or lease a farm of getting the fields ready to plant. What seed company you all use and why you chose that company. Just showing what it takes to start up a farming business or dairy business this day and time. And what’s the pros and cons of it all. Have you all ever lost a crop due to weather, or flood, or things like that. It would be a great video. Love the new barn it looks amazing
@roberthakeman98223 жыл бұрын
The crushed rock will make a nice base where you can spread the rock out with the skid loader and eliminate any muddy areas. Nice drone footage of the dairy and it looks really nice. How soon will you be chopping corn. That new heifer bldg looks really nice and I bet it saves you alot of time in chores.

Drone views are Breathtaking as usual‼️ I have used crushed concrete several times over the years and even though the magnet 🧲 gets most of the wire/rebar, it misses a bit. I still go over each load with pull behind magnet. Even then get a few tire punctures. Blessings to Yall from Northeast GEORGIA Mountains🙏 🇺🇸AMERICAN FARMERS🇺🇸 🇺🇸AMERICAN HEROES🇺🇸

I saw that you cleaned the radiator with cold water, the previous owner of our tractor did that to when it was almost overheating and when we bought it we didn’t see it bud after a couple years we have noticed a crack in the engine because of very quick temperature switch of the block. I only wanna say that if you do that please watch out that you don’t hit the block or you will be surprised with a couple thousand dollar mechanic bill🙈😉

Eric I thought you would like to watch this - Father Son dairy farmer in New Zealand - they are calving at the moment and had sickness in a few of the calves - Vet was called - the suggestion was using a Brix counter (same as you use to see if apples are ripe) to check the sugar content of the colostrum 30 and above for heifer that will be kept for milkers and over 22 for bull calves etc - the vet is also a share milker with her husband on his family farm - the vet also talks about a new calf feeding system they are now using for there calves - I thought you would find it interesting

So my 6125 got hot in Ireland at 32 degrees air temp (dunno what that is in Fahrenheit) Took it back to the garage and they fitted a larger pulley on the fan, said it comes standard in warmer places. Seemingly its a common enough problem. Might be worth checking out.

I’m sure some people think it must be so difficult to cut the alfalfa and not hit the corn. I worked on a golf course in my teens 40+ years ago and we used a tractor with a five piece reel gang mower and I could come within three inches of a tree and not hit it. I miss those days when life and your job wasn’t all consuming.
