MOWING SILAGE AT LAST....

So.... we’re mowing grass. Great strong crop. Mowed 2 weeks later then we had planned. Now the weather is with us, we will hopefully get it all done over the coming days. Have a look at how we got on today.

I didn’t mow mine yet I only rolled the meadows their 3-4 weeks ago another week and I’ll start mine well I’m glad that it shined down ur end for ur silage my end it’s raining the hole time

We are at the moment about a month away from cutting. We have 3 wild cats about us and my friends dairy farm they had that bad of a cat problem that they were running cats over feeding the cattle so they had a secret cull of cats like a year ago now. It's sad in a way but needed to be done.

Got our silage done there yesterday 10 bails to the acar and there was ten acars

Forecast better over the weekend, ground looks OK, once you cut it it will dry a bit, nice crop. Weather here is very showery, did get some sheep clipped on Wednesday, off to the show later, can't beat a nice day at the Highland, wish l had a 100grand to spend on machinery but an ice cream and a beef roll will have to do.

Radar showed we were missing that rain on wednesday so i fertilised the arable silage. Needless to say, it lashed on it a few hours later. 50m up the road was bone dry. By the way, McCullagh Machinery have a 10ft trailed KV with grouper. 2004 so agey but seems to be in perfect nick

Yo horse!!! That is some crop a grass for sure!!! Will pit like 55 acres if ya ask me.....some bulk in it and some butt in the grass! Better take them knives to the dentist Ger lol!! That crop will need some chewing hi!!! That pic I showed ya on messenger was of a double swarth a grass.....Beeches Brooke at the feckn Grand National was what I compared it to... The T7 250 knew she was knocking that crop!!!! Anyhooo stay safe bud and best regards for now..... looking forward to seeing how high the pit goes lad and the 28 drawing!!!! Btw....the loader looks handsome with all the new/extra shoes on the front!!!!!!!! Whoop whoop!!
