Robert, I worked for a number of years at Thomas Jeffersons Monticello, when I lived in Virginia. On the mountaintop, where his home was, there was an area called the Grove. It had hardwood wood trees, but he had all the undergrowth cleared out. He felt it was aesthetically more pleasing to the eye. You're property is looking beautiful, and this video made me think of the Grove.

@leahmollytheblindcatnordee35867 ай бұрын
We have a similar problem here, but with a trumpet vine infestation. Unfortunately we started it by planting one, then realized how much of a problem it would be and tried to kill it off, but it escaped to the neighbor's yard and they didn't care. So now we are the ones putting up an endless fight to stop it from returning to our side. The moral of the story is be careful what you plant, it may come back to haunt you.

First-rate clearing once again and gaining ground, literally. That foundation does look like a barn. Very similar to my place in Kentucky, tobacco barn corner posts were anchored as such, and the warm house, corn crib, smoke house and well house had like foundations. The spacing of your's might indicate more than one structure. A working farm required a lot of buildings. Enjoyed!! ❣️❣️👍👍

Hello. Will the area that you are clearing now meet up with the large area where you spread wildflower seeds a couple of years ago? If I remember correctly, it was across from your "camp site" where you at one time had a hammock. I remember the "other Robert" jokingly saying he knew what you had been doing, not working. Miss seeing him and Angie. Thank you...

It’s the foundations of the Skunk Ape’s mansion!, as those in the know can tell you Skunk Ape’s thrive in the Wisteria Jungles of Waverly Hall GA. Also it should be noted that the red clays of Georgia combined with the field stones make the best foundations, keep removing the Wisteria I’m sure you’ll catch a look of said Skunk Ape

Have often wondered why you don't just poison the larger wisteria at ground level. Wound the vine with an ax or something then pour a thin paste of table salt, industrial 30% white vinegar (Home Depot), and just enough water to make it pourable. All natural and it works. Just don't get it on anything you don't want to harm.
