Moxibustion is a complex and fascinating subject with a long history of use in TCM Tradition Chinese Medicine.
If you are interested in the subject of Moxibustion then I suggest further self study.
I have been using methods of Moxibustion for over 40 years and as a therapist I find its use for various problems very helpful. A common method is to use a Mugwort Stick also called a Moxa Pole or Cigar. There are many types that can be purchased but I prefer to make my own, as I show during the video.
The extinguisher is simply made from Hard Maple on the lathe with a 20mm wide hole 5cm deep.
I like the idea of making my own Tools, especially if it is a Tool that is not easily found or readily available. Handmade Tools give great satisfaction and for me it is fun knowing that I created something to help me better improve my woodworking experience.

Look up Ginger Moxa Frank 😊 If your arthritis is in a difficult area to apply it yourself, someone else could help 😊 I would avoid foods that create inflammation too 😊 ॐ
