Using an alcohol based sanitizer before handling a flame is quite dangerous. People's hands could easily catch fire. The bottle is also kept next to the patient and that's dangerous too. The other thing is that, with the direct moxa demo, the patient stated it was too hot, there was no need to ask her again if it was too hot. Burns can happen quickly. Lastly, CV-6 would be a better point to demo on a public video. In step 7, I would use water to cut the burned part over. Lots of comments but I do appreciate this video and the presenter was friendly. There aren't many professional level videos on moxa available on KZbin so I'm glad to have found this one, and it covers a lot. Thank you.

To extinguish moxa sticks you can also wrap it in tin foil making sure the end that was burning is fully covered. This starves the fire of oxygen and suffocates it effectively putting it out. This way you don’t waste any of the moxa like you would if you were to cut the end off. ❤

I am against putting this kind of videos for the public, people may use them blindly without paying attention to any contraindications. As example using moxa on guan yuan for a virgin lady may cause infertility are you aware of this? Moxa alos can't be used on arteries or for patients with blood disorder.

Thank you for your feedback, your opinion is much appreciated. The video is clearly made for healthcare professionals. We do not recommend laypersons to use these techniques without guidance. Contraindications are also presented at the end of the video. I am very curious about the guanyuan for virgin ladies, I have never heard about this theory, could you provide the source? I agree that moxa cannot be used on arteries, but I feel this is rarely the case in the clinic anyway, most of the points we use for moxibustion (back shu points, ST 36, CV 4, etc.) are not located on an artery. Also, could you clarify what you mean by blood disorders? Blood deficiency? Anemia? Cardiovascular diseases? I am very interested in your ideas. Thank you, Yoann

@@yoannbirling3844 Hello, I am doctor Charles. I have done extensive research regarding virgin ladies. I did my doctorate online so most of my research was over zoom calls and sometimes omegle. So yea I don't know much about blood disorders but I do know virgin ladies cause a disorder in my blood flow, especially to some organs if you catch my drift ;)
