I can not tell you how much I love watching your videos. When I had my house, I was just like you always doing something different in my garden. I miss that a lot, but since I found your channel, I find comfort and joy watching you being so creative in your beautiful garden. I love seeing your son get involved in helping you. That says a lot of him. God bless you all, and once again, thank you. 🙏❤

You deserve a man cave! I love the repurposing of items. I am imagining an earthy palette, so it’s hidden with the surrounding foliage in spring, summer, and fall. If you want bright Mardi Gras colors, maybe do that in the interior for yourself?

Looks great! It's so wonderful to see your garden this time of year with its beautiful cold season colors and growth. I am loving the zen character and flow. Very peaceful... This looks gives the presence of ancient existences. That shed is perfectly placed. Thank you so much for sharing. 🙏🏾 ❤

You are quite a craftsman and designer as well as gardener. Its amazing how you found all that on fb market place. I love the color of the wood already so i think yellow and purple trim 😊 Thank you for another great video. Love it!

Terrific man cave. Switching the colors from the chicken coop would look great and, of course, complement each structure. The man cave walls can be the mustard yellow that's in the chicken coop door, and the trim on the man cave can be the red tone of the chicken coop walls. The man cave doors would look great stained the same color as the chicken coop door frame. Windowpane grid wood a rich blue to work with the spruce. Black window box and any metal nod to French Quarter. Colored beads or black scroll metal hanging from the eaves.

No, you do not talk too much. Everyone has their preferences and one of mine is when I get to hear the thoughts of the gardener, even if they are musings of future projects. It shows that the gardener isn't just following some paint-by-number plan. The cubby section was a nice idea. One of those things that just slightly bugs me when getting/building a new shed is the floor space will immediately get eaten up by shelves or a bench or something. That cubby allows you to keep the main floor open... to some degree. And as a fellow bald man who is over 6', it is rare for me to not have knicks and bumps on my scalp... but that height means most people don't see all the damage. And lastly, colors are an area I kind of struggle with. My 2 cents on colors for shed, maybe a subdued color for the walls and bright colors for the trim. A subdued, ivy green maybe and then do yellow goldnon the roof trim and purple on the window frame and orange on the door. You get a Mardi Gras color palette, but the subued color of the main structure keeps it from being too bright and in your face.

Hi, yes, yellow would be great. I thought it was yellow already, and that caught my eye, which is the reason i clicked on this video. It looks beautiful, magical. The sun shinning on it is just perfect! I say paint it yellow period, nothing else.

Or a bench swing covered with a vine plant. How do u live without a swing! I sit in mine all summer and analyze the whole garden space from there, transplant things I see that aren't quite right even if I move things by a foot or less!

Are you going to put a little stove in your man cave? The type they have for tiny houses. So you can keep warm this winter? You're becoming a talented builder. The greens and browns would look perfect on it cause you don't want the workplace to stand out only the hobbit houses.

Pick a color or colors that nature has already in your garden. Then you can let the color that will come in the window box be a star that you can change for each season. That would be a continuous pretty change and fun to create maybe with tiny lights.

What about a deep green for the body of the man cave and a dark purple for the trim that way it is still Mardi Gras colors but kind of almost a woodsy and manly!

What kind of tree is the one that looks like a multi-branch topiary, is it some type of Arborvitae? It looks really cool, I like it. 😊
@RootyToot123Ай бұрын
Please, no Mardi Gras color combos. It’s already yellow so maybe a drab camel color with brown or maroon/burgundy trim? Remember you have to compliment your fantastic moon gate and keep it relevant - center stage. I am hoping this is your last whimsical building because you’re filling up your yard so quickly and pretty soon you won’t have any plants left 🥴😍 Everything so far has been fun & looks terrific (‘cept for that green on those side buildings). So good luck figuring out your color scheme - I know you will make it your own. I’ll be looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you for watching. I made these lamps in early spring. Feel free to watch the video. Those lamps are railroad ties, old metal disk that would be used to till the soil with a tractor and Spanish moss hangs from chicken wire as well as solar lights. Hope this helps.
