What a wonderful little home. I love everything about it, even the spotty windows. They should be like that. Looking forward to seeing the final reveal.

Love it, Mike - I like watching it come together bit by bit; it interesting to see how you get there, rather than just one big project. Thank you for taking us along!

You need a larger piece of land to let your imagination run wild. Gradually expand it, like Garden Answer. As a creative person, having space for your imagination to flourish is essential. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work! Happy holidays 🙏🥰

I am loving all these short videos with updates. Don’t rush the process. I am just thrilled we are getting all this content late in the year. I can totally see the vision with the clematis climbing on either side of the doorway. It’s going to look so beautiful!!

Really enjoyed today's video. Thanks for adding the purple. I love the window box. Can't wait to see what you plant in it!! You really need to trade places with Laura from Garden Answer and build her kids some of your sheds. They would adore them!!!❤ Merry Christmas

So awesome Mike! I can totally see how the shed will look after some antiquing. Also, all the beautiful flowers around it. I think that is so much fun creating little vignettes around old rustic nature and structures. We had a beautiful day the other day here in KS, back to cold today but more nice days after Christmas to tinker in the garden. Have fun and a very Merry Christmas to your family!! 😊

A hyacinth vine is a nice annual vine that grows fast and has really purple pods for the first season maybe while you wait on the clematis to get bigger.

Imagination and having a vision are good things! When I started out eight years ago with a blank canvas, half-acre back yard, I envisioned a lush landscape. Still in progress, it currently displays two large shrub/perennial beds, several raised beds, many varieties of herbs, trees and vegetables. You will enjoy that charming man-cave/grandbaby magnet for many years to come! Well done!

Chilly greetings from Olathe and Merry Christmas! This is coming along so well, Mike!! I think your content and how you're showing us what you're doing in stages is perfectly done. I don't need/want to get "into the weeds" about every small decision you make on a project, but it's enjoyable to watch it come together rather than being presented with an already complete project. I think you've hit the balance just right. Your Man-Cave, complete with HVAC, LOL! will be a great center of garden operations for you! Can't wait to see what you do in 2025! Happy New Year to you and yours!

Good job I love the tiny shed. Everything turned out great. Love burlap bags. Bought some at a Flea Market used to cover my outside cats pillow. She loves it. You could store and sort seeds for planting. Grow lettuce indoor. Or plan your next adventure. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2025.

This is why I like your videos/garden. I don't know if I would ever think of adding faux beams to a shed. Not sure they would work with the my shed plans, but now I'm looking them over and seeing how I might incorporate something similar. Amazing and inspiring work as usual. 19:00 - While you were pointing at the shed and talking about spring plantings, my eyes were drawn to the lamp post and lamp. I think you mentioned last video that you were thinking of removing the lamp post because you thought it interrupted the view from across the garden. If you do decide to, you could move the light to the top faux rafter to keep the area illuminated.

I have enjoyed your gardening journey and adore your whimsical elements. Check out Asian or Carolina jasmine for your climbing plant. Much easier than working with roses, has a great fragrance, is evergreen and also has pretty Spring/Summer flowers.

Love the shed. I am surprised though you did not either secure the electrical cord from the AC unit along the wall, or, install an electric outlet in or beside the AC compartment when you did the wiring. That would have worked well for providing light to your desk/ writing area too.

You sound like you really want grandkids. I hope you do without any pressure from you or your wife. My poor old Mum would have loved some, but unfortunately it didn't happen. Someone else I know didn't have any, but the pressure from her Mum was unbelievable.
