Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey Stunt Double Experience

Michelle Steilen, aka Estro Jen talks about their experience as a stunt double in the Harley Quinn movie, Birds of Prey and shares behind the scenes clips of stunt training.

Dude I'm with you!! I got my roller skates just before I watched the movie. And the crazy part is I guessed that the stunt person had to be estro. Sure enough the stunt people were showing up on the creds and Michelle Steilen was there!! I was so stoked I cried lmao Shes just so cool and badass and an inspo to so many 🤩🤩

This movie is so close to my heart. As soon as I found out it was coming out I made sure I went to a town with a theatre to watch it on the big screen. I can’t even express how amazing this is. I waited for this movie since I was 12 years old and learned about Harley Quinn. I’ve roller skated since I was 4 years old (I’m 23 now) to the corner store and at roller rinks. I was a skating carhop at sonic drive in and got to make money skating(my dream is to get paid to roller skate in any way). I learned about estro and the brand about 3 years ago and it sparked something in me that I didn’t know I had. I started derby and park skating last year and it has changed my life. . Park skating is life, and to see all of these different worlds collide in one movie was like a dream come true 😭 I’m literally bawling my eyes out.

man, all of this looks better than the final product. what they chose to put in the finished film did NOT take advantage of what could have been done on skates, it was my #1 complaint when i saw it in theaters. after seeing this video, im wondering why they didnt put all these stunts in!?

oh wow, T stop with that speed .. 1:50 I just had my 3rd session with my roller skates although I had done plenty more with my inline skates and I'm ok, not excellent, but much more comfortable. I still need more training and this video makes me even more excited. :D
