I m bunny hater. Play with bunny in your team is very boring. She run around everywhere and literally kill everything and you can do nothing. In boss fight I met lots of incompleted Bunny and die every time when boss shot for 10 second or more. This is why she have so many heater. This type of tier list needs to include the ultimate versions of the descendants. Point being that Bunny is only that highly ranked because of High Voltage which can only be used on her ultimate version. I would expect regular Bunny would still be the best mobber, however, she would probably be at C or D tier for bossing. Lepic also falls under this because of Firearm Master. Without it, he's probably A tier for bossing.

@@mr_sn4k3snot only does she have her 36 meter ability mobbing build, I’ve also found great success in operations where you can spawn camp ads using rocket Gley. She also has a speed boost in non-frenzied state so she isn’t even lacking in speed. Also, for the ability spam build, if you use the ability and then deactivate her frenzy state after the damage numbers appear you get healed depending on the number of enemies hit. So yeah, overall she’s not the greatest mobber in the game but she’s far from the worst

Edit: Just wanted to preface this with I believe they have done a hell of a job for a preseason and a game like this. Warframe was nowhere near this enjoyable (for me) at this stage in their game. So I'm hopeful for what they have planned. Honest question. What do you do at the end when you have your descendant you want, your mods all set up and weapons you like? Meaning, you are done farming. As a Kyle fan, i built him pure tanky - (Diamagnetic, Skill Expansion, HP Conversion Shield, MP Conversion, Dangerous Ambush, Focus on Dimension, Amplification Control, Increased HP, Increased Shield, Nimble Fingers, focus on Non-Attribute, Take whatever hook you like more). I run up to a boss hit him/her with the 1st skill then turn on skill 3, while its on i get max stacks hitting a boss with Skill 2. If you do it right you'll never die, just keep your skill 3 always on. There are some ults from bosses that tickle getting hit head on so your team can dps. Plus if a team member goes down you take no damage so its an easy res. BUT thats just my take

Esiemo deals way more damage, and he is deemed as "mid tier" I haven't played in 2 months, so idk how much has changed. But kyle was definitely controlling nothing. He 1st had a natural cooldown, now I see he can spam it alot better. His 4th is scaled higher now too. Literally HAD to buff him. Like I've been said.

Problem is once you build out your character with max hp/def/shield/resist, you shouldn't need any additional healing. I can stand right underneath nearly every hard boss and type in chat for a minute and still have half health left, even on my bunny. If you're not surviving rather easily it's bc you didn't build your character properly for hard bosses.

fellow JB main here, honestly jayber is the best if you wanna afk farm, just setting up double attack turrets on spawn points and occasionally refresh timer with his 3, can get some pretty respectable void shard gain per/hr without much interaction i didn't get to play him in the beta, but he's a pretty well rounded character if you wanna chill and game for a bit. I get the problem people have with him though, fairly stationary character in a game where you are constantly moving I hope they do address some of his problems that will eventually catch up with him later in the games life, particularly his low natural skill crit rate. All the characters that share his low skill crit rate usually have options to raise it through their abilities or have unusually high ability modifiers, Jayber does not. Hopefully his ult version will fix that

Esiemo I feel like is gonna be the kind of character that is ranked low all the time, get buffed, still be considered bad due to how he works at a base level. Then finally either get buffed so much that his clunkiness is outweighed or they do change how he works and then all those buffed stats he got means he just breaks the game. That 2 abilities scaling has a some serious potential for nuke damage if they buff its % or change the detonation time of bombs so you can stack more on bosses. Hes a dangerous character to buff, but please do, buff him lots, hes so bad, give him like 1000% more damage, nothing bad will happen surely :)

I think a good way to fix him would be to put stuff on a timer and get rid of detonate all together. Like make his c4 like a trip mine and when mobs run over them they explode. And have like sticky grenades that explode or something. I’m not sure what they would do but I think he’s the lowest played character for sure

Currently it's at 25% base, but if you have skill power mod, it can go up to 60% or whatever. Idk exact numbers, but I just think that would be more beneficial for build variety as well.

I think she's a better mobber than Jayber, too, at least with the Cutoff Beam transcendent mod. The damage isn't amazing, but it's more than good enough for mobbing. It also goes straight through barriers and enemy riot shields, and the cooldown and cost are practically nothing so you can freely spam it. If someone just wants the best it's not going to compete with a Viessa or Valby, much less Bunny, but it's good enough to make leveling and playing missions feel comfortable. And it's fast and fun, too.

Yujin has a lot of future proof with dungeon raids coming but no one wants to be a healer in a gun slinger looter shooter. I for one busted my butt for Yujin he is a pain to farm and is even more expensive in the shop but I love supporting. If you want a The First Descendant experience, I reccomend Bunny or Lepic. I farmed for Ult Valby and she is my only maxed out Unit and she just doesnt out perform the big boys ever.

Bunny is not A tier on bosses because of the problem you hinted at - in public queues they faceplant more than any other class due to running tweaked farm builds. Sharen is A tier for Battlesuit rounds - 40% debuff elec/def is excellent. She is also quite easy to build as she does not need to have 6 cats placed on her.

Esiemo’s 1 can detonate a horde if you shoot the enemy it’s attached to. Enzo can have infinite grenade launcher ammo for mob clear and his 4 has a transcendent mod that can be kept up for mob clear if you wanted to build for it. Sharen is probably my most time spent. I’d say the main problem she has is her fourth ability has the targeting system. In a game that has bunny this ability takes too long to cast and let the knives fly. They should completely get rid of the targeting system or have it press, target system shows, and release the knives fly. Also, aside from the damage loss on her 1st ability mod, you half your duration with her invisible mod. This is all around the most punishing character to use her mods on.

While I main Freyna...I question her kit...Her 1 and 3 is pretty much the same, outside of 0 room. Her 2 could've been a weapon toxic buff like Saryn? So it would make sense for her 4, instead it add def. On top of that she squishy...so the 2 makes no sense. Her kit 2, 3, and 4 just felt lazy.

I think Freyna's biggest problem isn't that she lacks damage, but that she can't really do her thing because of other characters just screen deleting. Freyna is insanely strong when she's fighting huge groups of enemies, and very quickly melts them. But she can't really get her ball rolling before Bunny or Valby just press a button to clear the entire map. Freyna poisons enemies, and then the poisoned enemies make poison trails that poison enemies. Which leads to her being insanely good, if she's the only mobbing character in the squad.

The idea of playing a fire mage in a cowboy outfit is sick, but his damage certainly isn't reflective of it. I bought my ultimate bunny and farmed my ultimate lepic. Took 20ish hours farming lepic, and 2 days of bunny cave to max him out. I over farmed for him it could have been 12-15. This is after I maxed out a couple descendants already so I had some basic materials to help. So if you know what you’re doing in game it’s pretty easy to get 1.

Sharen is already the most underrated char in the game. Highest “non bug” Single target dps High survivability with little investment and Void domination+ CD reduction is incredible Mob clear, one shotting Mobs in the toughest of content. only spot she lacks in xp farms. witch she makes up for by having a Mechanic thats an absolute necessity in the game with her ability to stealth infiltrate. I value your Input on this game but Sharen being anything less than the Second best char in the game gives me the impression that you really didnt put any effort into actually using her kit outside of Sniper one shot builds

Sharen being anything other than the bottom character leads me to believe you only play her. She can clear mobs, but she doesn't do it with the efficiency of the best. She can do high single target damage but doesn't do it with the efficiency of the best. She isn't the best at anything, she's just decent at the things she's supposed to be good at. Also her being required for infiltration missions doesn't raise her tier. It's just annoying. She's really not that great because you can always pick 3 to 4 characters that does what she's supposed to do, better.

@@jetsettech8804 Double Afterglow sword with Overcharged edge and High CD reduction is more single target damage than any other character in the game. Void domination + High CDR gives you a 20 mob wipe (700k per blade with a 80ish% crit rate on a proper build) on a 6 second cooldown that you can do from behind cover as to not risk taking damage. and for whatever reason if you need more damage on it you can take off Void domination and put on Overcharged edge witch gives you 10 3mill+ plus blades(up to 3 can hit a singular target so 9 mill on 3 different targets). Her active camo is free survivability so you have no need to build into defense at all. Not to mention if you cast Overcharged edge with 0 sheilds it will give you full sheild. Battlesuit melting rounds is a powerhouse debuff that makes everyone hit significantly higher Ive been in Defense missions, Infiltrations, Intercepts with full maxed out builds on all other high dps characters and its Not comparable. The suvivability outside of Intercepts is Not comparable, like at all. You will not die on sharen you dont even need to leave cover if you dont want to, you need to leave Active camo if you dont want to while still wiping the board. The only place Sharen loses out is strait up mob farming activities like Valby run or xp grind spots. I play all chars and have seen them used at their best. No one is matching sharens output and Enzo is the only Char I would consider on her level or better.

NGL I think Enzo is waaaaay better than gley unfortunately now. Yujin Immortal build is unkillable for sure regardless of content, I feel myself using him + Viessa Gley is just not fun honestly, her glass build means you have to put a loooot of time into building her out but I do agree with the top 3 ranking. I wish viessa skill damage would get boosted to lepics level

Nexon basically gave the easiest to unlock characters the strongest overall in most situations. The hardest to unlock characters are less effective in most situations. Very strange that Viessa, Lepic and Ajax the starting characters are more useful in most situations than Jayber, Kyle, Esiemo and Yujin in most situations.

Soo, it makes sense if you think about it from a financial perspective. All the chars with ults are currently good, except arguably ajax though he has his niche i suppose. The chars without ults are hit or miss, but I'm guessing their plan is to give significant buffs to each char alongside their ult release which will stimulate sales. If they gave freyna significant buffs and released her tomorrow with a good looking ult skin i'd buy the $100 package instantly, for example, but i'm investing nothing into her non-ult ever.

I don't really think the issue with Freyna is the tick damage. Yes it is a problem, but I don't think it is the primary issue. What I think they need to do for Freyna is rework her Transendant mods to ACTUALLY give some value. Changes like giving range mods an effect to the Poison Footprints mod, give a skill damage and firearm damage bonus to the contagion mod, and primarily with the defensive support mod they need to give it a boost to the chance it procs poison and zero room trauma when an enemy hits you, pretty much needs to be a guaranteed proc on hit and ideally throw in an effect where on hit you gain mana back. But the main thing that needs to change on Freyna is her passive. With the current game the way it is, Freyna might as well not even have a passive. And the bonus from the passive is incredibly tiny as it is and you lose any bonus you would gain by killing the target. So the whole purpose of her passive is completely negated by playing the game.

Hear me out with Luna : release an alternative “ grunge” look for Luna along with a buff to her kit- she gets a buff within ability that gives her a guitar solo that’s extremely fast melody for bossing or mobbing, essentially holding down the trigger and guaranteeing no misses to the beat and does serious damage.

Needed Esiemo buffs/reworks First ability- shouldn’t block shooting and If held rapidly shoots all stacks Second ability- remove the stack limit he should be rewarded for sticking more mines Third ability- if held throws all stacks at once Fourth ability- gut or remove the animations and fix the steering on a controller… regen mana instead of a movement speed buff

So freyna only has the mobbing issues because everyone is building her for boss kills. 6-9 second devours and such. If you build her into wave and skill power she can kill the whole room with poison puddles just like Valby. It’s not her kit that is lacking it’s the builds players are locked into. Mark my words. After the update she will be S with Bunny when players can have multiple builds.

My mob freya outputs bunny. Just massive cooldowns and increase duration and range. The toxic spreads it’s the same range as glay sang. But it’s really expensive and it wont do any boss fights

I've put a lot into Freyna, even contagion to make her more viable but it's not worth the investment with how long it takes to kill things. I throw on random mods on my bunny and she still out performs Freyna. Freyna needs a serious buff, otherwise why build and invest into a character when one does it way better and less time consuming to get to that level?

The bar to get her going is so high and for people who don't have that time to grind for certain mods (contagion), fallen hopes X4 or python, it's not appealing. Bunny can do more with less. This just pigeon holes people into characters.

No use telling your basic meta gamer they always find out late or never Luna, Jayber and Esiemo are some of my favorite and most used. Some examoles Esiemo ultimate spam build, and you can use Jayber ultimate and reposition his turrets while his buff is active for quite a while with duration mods.

I really wanted to try Esiemo, but was very disappointed with how he felt to play. For me, his damage wasn't enough to mitigate how clunky his kit was. When doing the Kingston defense mission to level him up, I found out his 1 has an undisclosed 8-10 second auto detonate timer that made it unusable for the most part in that mission. When I did use it against the minigun dudes, I realized I could've just killed them a whole lot faster with my Greg's Reverse Fate. I felt like his guided land mines should've auto detonated once attached to something. His 4 was the main reason I wanted to try him, being that it has the highest damage modifier in the game, and was fun to use against normal monsters but against colossi was underwhelming.

I think an honorable mention for the bossing tier list is that all the supports can be very solid gun characters because of how strong Passionate Sponsor is as a mod.

you got jayber too low in mobbing. You can try building him max range and he can cover almost the entire area of one mission and with his skill 3 turrets can damage any targetable in the area at the same time with very fast interval. If you're lucky and you got the transcendent module then you can do that to 2 spot. You can search this Jayber build and see what I'm talking about.

Having 1 character maxxed out is actually equivalent to having 12 characters at level 40. 😂 Edit: But now it's worse. When the update rolls, you can change mod socket type in setting 2 without affecting settings 1 or 3... but you still have to re level .. 🥳 🎉 yaaay

Kyle the FTD space marine (and Ajax, the goblin slayer) would be really good if they can draw aggro. Only gripe I have on the game atm, tank units that have zero ways to use their tankiness effectively other than to be the last player standing and roleplay as an EMT.

Kyle has his 2 transcendent mod which let's him build it up within seconds when hitting the boss, which let's you basically spam your 4 ultimate with a 6 second cooldown if you build* him right along with a secret garden and multi-talented

Freyna is 100% getting slept on. I main her and my build for her is one shotting almost every regular enemy in the game and her ability’s spread like wild fire. I have it where I can spam her 3 at 6 seconds and that’s not even the lowest I’ve gotten it. Her 4 is phenomenal at clearing hordes too that will one shot every base enemy in the game even some boss ones. She’s definitely not a B tier. Deserves S for sure

Great list! Thoughts: I think C and D tier all need big buffs/changes to existing abilities. B tier is fine as is. Bunny is too good (I'm a bunny main). Imo, to nerf her mobbing aspect they should just nerf the max range scale of her emissions (make max 125-150%) and maybe nerf its crit damage slightly. Then they should buff her ult slightly since it uses all your static and then change her ability 1 since it's useless to compensate the emission nerfs

I play Enzo a ton for mobbing and think he's B tier. His 4 hits hard and fast and auto targets at insane speeds. Keeping that up permanently along with spamming 2's when needed and he clears mobs really fast. Plus you throw him in a group and his 4 just gets crazy good.

I really like Jayber's concept and the idea behind it, but in a highly mobile and rather fast game he'll never be good. A class mod which turns his turrets into drones that follow you might help. Also Nexon not fixing the skill power bug doesn't help.

I started off with Lepic, loved him enough to get Ultimate Lepic, but found his mobbing skills to be, lacking. So now I have started investing in Ultimate Bunny to have the best of both worlds when it comes to bosses and mobbing / grinding.
