Cunard is such a beautiful brand. I have thoroughly enjoyed Queen Victoria twice now and hope to try out all the other Cunard ships. I particularly enjoyed travelling transatlantic to Florida. What an amazing experience and was extremely fortunate to enjoy the Universal Studios excursion for my birthday. An unforgettable birthday! I doubt there is a better way to spend one’s time.

Yours is my favorite of the QM2!!!!

The QM can make twice as much fresh water as it needs and it uses the heat from the the engines so it takes little energy to make water. This is amazing! I wonder what they do with the extracted salt?

I remember one time on a Cruise Ship, I was with this girl named Rose. Her and I stood on the bow of the ship and yelled "Im the King of the World of Warcraft" and other profane stuff. Her family was rich and I was poor so they didn't want us together but we hid out behind a box of onions and fooled around, even though a camera followed us everywhere. Later, the boat ran out of ice cubes so the captain hit an iceberg in the hopes of collecting more. This proved to be a bad move as the boat took on some water. We didn't worry because they said the vessel was unsinkable.

Out of all of ocean liners, QM2 looks like the majestic ship she inherited from her mother, the Queen Mary.
@pizzasubs5 жыл бұрын
the one thing I have always wondered about these ocean liners, no matter what the size of them are, if something would happen to one of them and they had to use their lifeboats, and I know this all depends on how many people are actually on board at the time, but are there actually enough lifeboats that would accomodate everybody on board the ship??????

Why don't they use the same systems for water on land ... ? Our problems with water supply would be solved then.

Our city of about 1 million uses reverse osmosis to make fresh water. My water bill is about the same as when I lived in an area that used natural fresh water sources. Usually (almost ALWAYS) it is gov't interference that stops innovation.

Think about where people are on land compared to being on a boat. The cost to build technology for that would be way too much.

Nick Wheeler Maybe but same size, Titanic is beautiful ship
@nickwheeler71485 жыл бұрын
zemih oojr no one saying it isn’t beautiful. You commented that it’s the same size as qm2 which is false the qm2 is 3 times the size of titianic. Why you comparing the two when one of modern and the other is old. Qm2 is literally modern day titianic ran by the same company just different name

What she is is Carnival designed and owned, managed, operated and staffed by P&O Cruises. A ghastly design who rarely photographs well, a plastic, ordinary ship run on the cheap (P&O has had major problems getting published fares). What upscale means on Carnival.
