I got a quick question hopefully you can help me out. I just bought myself this gimbal and when i turn it on it is vibrating and making a loud noise. I not sure if i have defective gimbal or i need to change the settings. the camera I am using is sony d6000.

Hi, congratulations for the solution in the video. I just bought an a7III, updated to the latest firmware, having a Moza Air gimbal (first version) with "handlebar" I need to have the rec command on the right handlebar, I thought about the solution of the app with the smartphone (iphone XS ) or the Moza remote control of the gimbal, unfortunately I found two problems: 1) when used in video mode with the Imaging Edge Mobile app, face recognition and focus does not work in AF-C. 2) Installed and connected via cable to my Moza Air gimbal (1 ver), if I press rec from the gimbal (by double clicking on button 1) to start the video, the recording starts with about 3/4 seconds of latency. Does it happen to you too? can you give me a solution?

I have kind of what I think is a dumb question (shows how much I have to learn about video!) but here it is. I use Nikon D500's which have poor contrast detect auto focus for video. Would that seriously impact the quality of the footage? It seems like it wouldn't because you would just be in manual focus. Is there something I am missing?

Definitely use manual focus most of the time. Especially when you mix in a wide angle lens, smaller aperture, no need for AF. I am excited for these to get more advanced with follow focus implemented.
