I think it is bettere to use your cell phone or tabled and mount it to your steering wheel base. you can always 3d print the mount

Yeah, this is what Moza's competing against and a big reason why they need to unlock their dashboard units! The CM is lovely and neat, just needs freedom

Only problem is when WiFi not up for the job and you get lag. That's why I ended up getting the dash.

Greetings! It also doesn’t correctly display traction control, abs and some other options. For example I wish it would display the remainder of charge in the lmdh and does not do that. I took it off my rig for now. I will say, it’s a very nice looking display and mo a did a good job with the quality. Love their stuff, hope they improve the dash.

IF they opened it up to Sim Hub it would be worth the money. But without that open platform. it is a waste of money

Looks great, but I had a spare phone so I just use it with sim dashboard and mounted it in the M3 bolt holes on the wheelbase. Doesn't look as good but it's cheap and customizable otherwise I would've got this.

I did the same with my mobile phone back in the day, it certainly is easier with a dedicated dash though (and my old phone actually got screen burn from being used as my dashboard...)

​@@dannyleeracing ahh. Luckily my old Samsung J5 is new enough to give a smooth 60hz refresh rate at the same screen size and its lcd, so burn in isn't much of an issue. I'm guessing a whole bunch of moza users are doing the same. moza are for sure missing out a bit. I'm glad they drilled and tapped M3 threads though. Pretty convenient mounting location for own mods.

I have a Aputure VS-1 Field Monitor (7" screen with hdmi) for video/photography and it works great with simhub, i paid £35 for it pre owned, i'm pretty sure the sim racing community hasnt got onto this yet.

I’m a noob. Bought it with my R5 bundle. Thought it was great integration - and it is - but as I gained some experience I found it’s displays to be lacking, so in it’s currently locked state I’m sorry I ponied up.

It being a closed system is what makes it a non-attractive option for me. It’s competing with my phone or a new tablet with a tablet holder and the latter is much more versatile.

I have one and it cuts out all the time when I turn the steering wheel, Mozas tech support is very bad taking a month to answer questions, not sure if I would buy anymore of their products

That's not good - thanks for contributing your personal experiences. People think Fanatec are the only people dropping the ball on customer support, but there are reports of multiple brands/manufacturers also falling a little short, too

Mine wont turn on with the wheel, when it does come on the telemetry never works, I've only had it work correctly once. All of my Moza equipment has a very hard time connecting and staying connected, its always in ''upgrade mode'' when I go into pit house I have to fiddle around with firmware updates and BS. Their customer service is atrocious VERY disappointed with all of it.

I see people saying they use their phone or tablet, how do you do that? With the moza app? I’ve been wanting to get a dash display for my rig but their prices hold me back, I know it’s not that expensive itself but the shipping would still be like 50$ just for the dash and I would still have to wait like a month to get it. I’ve also looked at other cheaper 3rd party dash displays but they either seem ok or just meh. I’m thinking of just getting a cheap little android tablet or something to use as a dedicated display.

You can use software such as Simhub or Sim Dashboard to convert tablets, phones and screens to a dashboard
