Moza R12 and CRP Pedals Unboxing, Fitting and Review

Well after 12 months of SIM racing, whilst saving my pennies and with a little help of an early birthday gift from my biggest fan, my Mum, I bit the bullet and bought the Moza R12 DD and CRP pedals. In this video, I unbox, install and give you my first impressions of the kit. Probably wasn't the best timing to change everything as I'm currently leading Div 2 Cupra TCR's and Super Tourers, this could send me backwards very quickly! My next few days will be trying to get my head round Pithouse and how to set up FFB to capitalize on what I've bought!

I can’t wait for delivery of my r12 in the next couple of days coming from using a more than a decade old thrustmaster t500rs which I’ve had lots of fun with but got tired of the fans kicking after 30mins of play and now looking forwards to experiencing what everyone is raving on about using dd drive wheel as to offer ,I hope I won’t be disappointed

I'm pretty sure you won't. I've sorted out the angle of the wheel on the rig now....had a senior moment and didn't realise i had more adjustment! The biggest issue I'm finding with the R12 is getting the FFB weight right. I've had to turn it down a lot in game and my wrists are killing me! But, I'm now up to pace in practise and a lot more consistent. Have you gone for pedals as well?

Enjoy the new toys! Moza products are top quality as far I've been told! If one day I buy a wheel/pedals, Moza and Thrustmaster are my first choices. Keeping finding the right settings and in no time you will gain again your competitive pace! Cheers from Portugal 👍🙂

very curious if you are still enjoying the CRP pedals? i have seen mixed reviews on them. you have a competitive setup , i am looking to get into sim racing as well. I'll also be getting a moza setup. I am chosing for the R9 , the KS steering wheel and i am undecided for pedals.

Looks good, I'm sure you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly, then you'll be even more difficult to beat. Hopefully see you in a race one of these days.

It's more cash but the Moza desk mount is slanted front to back. It would raise the wheel (At the front) to your requirements. I love my R12. It's great!

brake bias, tc etc on the rotary dials will also work on the original ac

Thanks for the video I found it easy to follow and informative. I Just upgraded from a logitech29, pedals and shifter to the same moza setup as you minus the RS V2 wheel, and I also got the moza shifter. I'm setting it all up on my sim-lab gt1 Evo rig. I subscribed to your channel look forward to watching your other videos...Cuz Now I'm thinking I need to get the RS wheel as well since I also like to do oval racing alot..😂

set ffb in pit house to 100% then tune it in game, this is pretty much what every one says and what i do for my 11nm wheel and trust me im not driving with any thing close to that force lol

there is a cheap mount that tilts the wheel base up on ebay that will fix yer angle issue.. no idea if you can get where your at

Yeah, its UK only i think, but might be able to tilt with longer bolts at the front and spacers, will have a play with it tomorrow. My arms hurt, so going to the pub instead hahaha

i run my logitech pro on about 35 percent in game.. but bo way in hell its 35% of 11 nm, some of the cars still feel like they could brake my wrist and require extra tuning.. it wont take you long to adjust to the DD once you get yer settings dialled in.. whats forced me to take a break from lfm is the jump to vr lol.. next is a rig and im all set.. for now the Tlcms are enogh for me but to be fair i cant take full advantage of the loadcell while still on a desk

Don't get me wrong, the TLCM's are great and got me where I am, but the new Moza are a different league and will take a lot of getting used too and possible adjustment!
