New Moza Racing H Pattern Shifter - bit.ly/3SnAGE6 This is the new Moza R21 with 21 Newton meters of torque a direct competitor to Logitech G Pro wheel, although more torque it doesn't have Trueforce support - which gives that extra immersive experience. What do you think of Moza's new direct drive wheelbase - R21?

I still wouldn't choose it tbh. I do not like there Jerky implementation of ffb. Some queues that come out srent correct or at the right time. It just likes being sharp which is great but it's not polished. There motors have more poles in the motor also meaning they will never be able to be as fast as other brands yes even fanatec is faster and better with the ffb implementation as the motor in the new bases are just better. Bevause as of now the resolution they have can't compete it's herky jerky feels strong yes bit can't be as precise.

I mean what is the point of high nm when you are going to set it to 30% from the software ...
@TheInsaiyan Жыл бұрын
@@resadrecebli2263 Overhead is always good and the bigger motors have higher slewrate/acceleration at the same NM settings as smaller bases. And personally, 20nm is awesome it u want to use a big wheel rim to simulate Oldtimers. Big wheel rims like 35-38cm mute the power and ffb on smaller bases. If all that is not a consideration then u don't need anything more than 10nm, but more has its benefits if you do use em.
@kotarojujo2737 Жыл бұрын
depends on what you playing, if you only plays assetto corsa with street cars, 21nm is overkill. But for serious competitive circuit racing then yeah, you need it

I’m thinking about getting into sim racing but I have a question that may be obvious to those already deep into it. You said you set the power output to 60% giving you 12.5nm. Wouldn’t be better to just get a 12nm racing wheel base?. Moza R21

if you are going to "reduce" the R21 down to the R16 level is there any reason to purchase the R21?
@goodtimeracing5 ай бұрын
Think about it line this, let’s say 10 nm is the level you want to run at. R21 will be running at less than 50% of its capacity while the R16 will be at around roughly 65% of its capacity. Over long time the machine working at lower capacity will always have the longer life span and less degradation of materials.

"moza R21" i like it , but to upgrade to probably no , i want to be able to use on all consoles & pc , i love the wheel , i wish fanatec would make something like this & i would buy it straight away . do u think the 55" is too big and loose to much of the screen behind the rig & wheel base ? thanks
@GeekStreet Жыл бұрын
I've tried alot of different size screens and personally I've found the 55inch to be perfect the cockpit view blends in perfectly with the position of the wheel but the only annoying thing at times is it covers the location of button on certain things but moving around in the seat I can just about see it. And yes they really are missing out not providing console support.

It seems every option for those seeking a high end wheel experience with PS5 (GT7 in particular) has downsides. Logitech Pro R aparently feels very good but lack of nice rim options or not able to use PC based rim options. Yes Id expect a Mclaren option to be a possibility in the future. Either in some form of GT wheel or F1 option. Also the pedals, is their no way to use PC based pedals with some form of adapter to support the Pro R on PS5?

Neat test, I bought the R5 bundle with the load cell pedal, waiting to receive it (I'll have some bozo setup, with my 6cm thick desk and 17" laptop, but s'alright, I also wonder if getting a car seat in the future would be a great idea considering I'd have to elevate it by ≈ 25cm)

Moza R21. Wish Moza would hurry up with PS5 support. Bought my first wheel. Logitech with trueforce for about £300 from Amazon back in October. Wondering if I should buy PC and get MOZA R9. Or go for Logitech Pro, but that is £1350 with the pedals. Want to get direct dirve. Not buying Fanatec because of the poor customer support. Also don't know how much tax we have to pay in the UK.

So it seems most people that have high torque wheel bases never run them at 100%. You even say in the video you run it at 60%, equating to ~12Nm. So it begs the question then, why do you (we) need wheel bases with such high torque? What are the benefits? I don't see the ~10Nm of headroom as a big selling point or even necessary. What are these companies trying to sell to us?
@GeekStreet Жыл бұрын
For the PRO's, I came across one the other day thats 32Nm...that must be a crazy experience and maybe saves on gym membership 😂
