Great vid! Now what do you think comparing R12 and R16 ? Is the jump worth ? Also knowing the difference of price between those two
@tigerbalm66624 күн бұрын
I has the R9 @ 40-45% strength, any more and you will hurt yourself! Power is mostly a MARKETING $$$ with minimal benefits. You should be using transducers to get the rumble from the road,engine, etc to your rig, NOT the DD base!!
@jesuisFORTIO Жыл бұрын
wanted to go for the r12 but living in the second floor probably is a better idea to go with the r9 to avoid problem while doing endurance series at night :/ also 200 euros more for that price would probably prefer an alpha mini

The R12 for me. Sounds like a good option given I’m on a T300 RS at the moment. The T818 doesn’t really do it for me.

I’m looking to upgrade from my thrustmaster T300 but not sure which wheelbase to go with. I’m not massively into sim racing but do play a bit of ACC but mostly ATS & ETS. Been told the FFB on R5 isn’t great so should go with something like R9 or 12. I’m gonna get the adapter to use my thrustmaster pedals until I can get the moza ones. I also want the truck wheel and the clamp for it.
@SimRacingSetups5 ай бұрын
The R9 will be more than enough, especially for ATS and ETS. The R12 does have much better force feedback though if you race games like ACC a lot
@dacke134 ай бұрын
@@SimRacingSetups I'm in the same situation as the guy above. I do play ATS/ETS2 but mostly I've been playing AC/ACC and some AMSR2 lately. To the point I got addicted to racing. I don't know which one to go for R9 or R12. Is the difference huge? What do you mean with ''FFB is better''? ATM I got a Thrustmaster T300RS. Is there a difference in detail of feeling the road, bumps etc? Does the game feel like a ''new'' game with DD or R9 vs R12? Would be good to note that I play other games as well such as Squad and Space engineers etc. So I do racing perhaps 1-2H total in a day but not a full hour straight. I play short sessions and quit. On weekends its more like 3H. And Moza r12 with full set and rig costs me about 2200 dollar meanwhile r9 is 1780 dollar.

adapter??? just plug the Thrustmaster directly into the pc makes no deifference where it is plugged.

Great vid mate! Quick question, Why do you have the KS wheel cable attached to run it on the R9 v1? I thought it had Bluetooth built into the KS and was natively compatible. I just purchased the KS and I believe that was the case.

It does have everything built in so don’t worry man. Was just legacy of me filming a video using the Moza Universal Hub 👍🏻

what does that little usb/tether connected from the wheel do? is it necessary? 8:05

That is connecting the steering wheel to the MOZA Universal Hub which allows for cross compatibility with different products. I was using it as I was having a connection issue with the R9 at the time. It isn't required normally.
