YES! srg please do that. Wheel, pedals + stand combination for different price points. The stand is probably the most important, to know which stand is cheap enough but can still take and resist the force of a DD of different price points.

Hey Barry first of all, thank you for everything you do, you show straight what is good and what needs to improve and I think we all appreciate this a lot. I wanted to ask if you have on your list a extensive review of the Fanatec CSL DD. I know you refuse to do the review on the pre-production unit, but now that the production is on the go, I'll really wanted your honest opinion on this. Thank you very much again, for everything you do, and a hug from Costa Rica.

Regarding the 'FFB Effect Equalizer,' I think it's best to disregard the vague descriptions provided on the top of the graph and simply think of it as a bank of tuned band-pass filters affecting the FFB signal, not unlike the graphic equalizers on old HiFi sets. E.g. if you feel the wheel vibrating too much you'd lower one of the higher bands, if you get oscillation, lower one of the lower bands. About the "Hand off protection," I think it's meant to reduce the torque when it senses the user have let go of the wheel. The Simucube 2 bases have a similar feature. The STM32-PRG and DSP-PRG pins on the PCB are probably the flashing interfaces for the microcontroller and dsp chips.

The pogo-pins worry me. Pogo-pins are never recommended where the environment involves significant vibration. They tend to disconnect and reconnect at high speed. This is fine for things like charging phones or connecting batteries in items which have little chance of high speed vibration or such vibration is rare, but on a sim-wheel I can't see pogo-pins as being a wise choice.

@@VisariDaBst Yeah it just stings more when it's not even consumers and flippers doing the scalping but rather the manufacturers and distributors themselves conspiring against the DIYers and being particularly greedy about it. This is just a message to let you know the MOZA Racing is a total nightmare if you have any issues with their products. I bought an R9 base and a Formula one wheel and both of these products came with an important number of issues. After weeks of talking to their support, which it is deplorable, I'm probably force to re-start the dispute with the help of my bank in order to get part of the money they want to keep. You really don't want to deal with people like this. They are just doing whatever the want and deciding what to pay me back. I'm looking for the possibility of putting a legal complaint agains this company. Will be talking to my bank and will be looking to my rights on this situation to make sure I do what I can to get the full reimbursement of my initial order which they informed me is not going to be the case. So please, in order to save you from getting into this hell, stay away from this company. If anyone wants to get more details or even have a call with me I will be more than happy to explain the full story I'm going through with this organization.

Currently dealing with them after my r16 base ceased up. It does barely turn right, but going left it ceases. After repeatedly contacting them, they FINALLY responded after 8 days. However, when they did. They quickly came to the conclusion that I should send the unit back to them so they could look at it and fix or send me a replacement. I'm still hoping this turns out right. It was only 5 months old. I used my logitech g29 for 4 years hard racing with no issues. Smh. The moza racing experience is awesome. It's a shame this situation has tarnished that. And made me feel insecure about the product.

Hi @@tonyelrod295 .. It is too bad that you are dealing with this issue. In my case I was totally frustrated with the whole support experience that eventually turned into a 'nightmare' for several months costing my extra money for something that they should have take care off. Anyway.. I hope you can get out of this situation without too many irritations. Maybe they have improved their after sales services and they will be able to fix or replace your base soon. Good luck!
