Agree. I’m an Irishman from the US and wish peace and stability for all Africa, but more importantly and immediate is I wish to see working democracies, free and fair elections!

The opposition leader cherishes power more than the people he wants to lead. Wisdom is placing the country first by toning down to enable dialog and development of a win-win solution. Protests doesn't help the same economy or the people.
@sofiabarbito981611 күн бұрын
Just hand over the presidency to the rightful winner: Venâncio Mondlane. FRELIMO has also released prisoners from a high security prison to vandalize and terrorize our people. Hundreds have been killed to date with police brutality. We just want change. It's been almost 50 years of a dictatorial criminal regime. Enough is enough 😔❤🇲🇿

That there is widespread protests, looting, violence and killings is a sign that recently held elections have failed, the Courts have failed, the regime has failed, Mozambique as a country has failed to resolve its political crisis so its time the international community step in.

I am Mozambican and Portuguese speaker. Your interpreter is, if you allow me to say, horrible. He didn't bring the message. I am an interpreter, English-Portuguese and vice-versa. What is heard from his interpretation makes it sound as if he is not impartial. That violates the principles of interpretation. Shame on him. He should bear in mind that this is a very serious diplomatic situation and shouldn't be taken for granted.
