ok Sellars nailed the Smoldering Don thing with this casting - of the other Giovannis I've seen, only Ramey has this kind of sex appeal. But the weird thing is Leporello smolders too!

Most definitely NOT accurate!!!! In the original video, Elvira most definitely DID sing Mi Tradi!!!!!!!!!!! In fact, if you listen closely, you can hear a clumsy edit after Il mio tesoro in which you hear the ringoff from the final orchestral note of Mi tradi!!!!!!!!!!! WHY THE FUCK DID THIS COPY OF THE VIDEO CUT LORRAINE HUNT LIEBERSON'S WONDERFUL PERFORMANCE OF MI TRADI??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why in the world are they sniffing coke? It didn't even exist back then, let alone having Mozart put it in his opera! That's a bad influence for such art & it would've meant disrespect to his music if he were to put it in his opera, I don't think he ever would've even put it, if it had existed back in his days!
