He's such a good player, but what he did at 1:18 detracted from the merits of the performance. And what a fantastic warmth from the orchestra.

And 1:18 is in reference to the apparent glissando rather than his jump.

That is called a grace note, my friend. A grace note written in the score.

Lil Tchaik I’ve played this concerto and I have never seen a grace note at this point, and grace notes are played clean

Lil Tchaik Let me rephrase, I understand there is a grace note at that point, but he played a glissando up a clear whole step. I was commenting that it sounded sloppy.
