That is incredibly cute and innovative! So interesting. I love that you don't have to fill the ENTIRE head with hair like you would with a human-sized wig. (I've seen cosplayers make yarn wigs with a similar method, and it baffles me how patient and dedicated they are, haha.)

Coming back to this while im making my first doll (a freshly coronated crown-princess made out of my old pinkie pie doll.) Really helped me because i cant style regular doll hair for my life! XD. that eyebrow shaver at the end was either dull or just couldn't cut thru doll hair... who knows, but you can get a pair of thinning shears used for shaving out tiny amounts of hair like you wanted to there from sally's or any other beauty supply place. Heck you can even get them on eBay or Ali express just look up thinning shears and they are only a couple bucks. Might help. Great tutorial too !! Love that glue cap idea at the beginning and I would have never thought of the placement of the pieces like that and it worked out beautifully so I'll have to try it. Thank you again and keep up the great work.

I'd actually recommend making the wig before doing the face up to avoid accidentally ruining the face/fibers sticking to the glossed eyes and lips. But since I've done most of my doll's face ups waaay before I have no choice. Haha!

I am working on this wig for a “liv doll” I picked up at a thrift store: right now I’m just making sure I’ve made enough wefts. :) I think it’s going to turn out good. I’m using green yarn.

i use high gloss acrylic in white instead of glue, it's water proof, so if my wig attempt fails i can remove the wefts and try again later
