Thanks for this video. I just picked one of these yesterday. Because of this video I decided to trade a couple of guitars for my new MPC-1000 black. Everything works just needs replacement pads. Pad 11 is torn a little. I love it all ready.

Pretty rad I just started rebuilding a 1000 because I had used one since high-school. It's just easier for me tha n my mpc one and I just picked up a 404sx for effects, regret not getting the mk2. Glad to see the keyboard works on the mpc 1000 tho because that's the one thing that I use my mpc one for that I haven't figured out on the 1000 yet. I use it as a mega synth. Can I put a single note keyboard sample in the 1000 and use the keyboard to play all different notes or do you program note by note sample by sample? (Or some synth engine I haven't come across) Also I'm replacing buttons and pads myself so let me know if that contact spray works.this video was neat can't wait to see more

Hi Raoul - did that 1000 come with the paid JJOS or did you purchase it? I just bought a 1000 with the free JJOS I want to add the paid version but slightly hesitant on the process! I like that black on black but I have a 2000XL blackout out so I’m going to customize my 1000 to all white….from MPC Stuff! Thanks

Yes I paid for it. Why are you hesitant? That sounds cool. I've been looking at the 2000xl on ebay. I saw an all black one there..

@@LiftedNoise was hesitant because I wasn’t sure if the JJOS developer was still around but once I do all my upgrades from mpcstuff I’ll go ahead and purchase it! The 2000XL gets a lot of unnecessary flack but it a dope machine easy to use and it’s also super customizable! Thanks for the confirmation on the JJOS.
