I know the 2500 is not rated highly for sound but i kinda like it.I prefer to listen to samples than the new models.Altho the new models are more dynamic generally more useful.But have not much character…..

@@mattyg499 I feel the same way majority of my albums were produced on the 2500 LE and I believe it’s the way you sample into it and utilize the effects to make it sound full. In the program menu, can you hold shift and hit the function button for 'all'? That would highlight all the pads to do a similar effect

Question man. So on my mpc 2500 for some reason it want let me edit my sample with my jog wheel. It will only allow me to edit with my faders. What do you think could be the issue? Ps I don’t have jjos

🤔 sounds like the wheel needs to be fixed or the sensor. I had to fix my sensor because it was skipping every few times I turned it. I went with. Bruce Forat a friend of mine to help me get all my buttons and wheel fixed. I hope that helps you bro. Or if your wheel turns it maybe the operating system 🤔 maybe see how to reset the akai back to normal.

I like them both to be honest. Workflow the 2500 with Jjos wins for me sound wise the 4k is 🔥

@@FaT_TrAk thanks, I have been trying to transition from the free JJOS to the paid version, but I'm finding there's more hidden layers in JJOSX. I found this global page but it requires more button prseses to get there. I can't help but think the free JJOS is the best version, as I find it's more elegantly laid out. Less features for sure though.

@gweisolos I’ve always used the paid version of jjos version 1 since I’ve had the 2500. It’s been my go to ever since and couldn’t imagine not having its functions. It makes the workflow faster for sure.

Once you turn on your mpc the Jjos version will pop up for a second

Yea jjos free isn’t worth it. Definitely buy the xl or version one. I bought version one when it first came out and stuck with it ever since.

Purchased Jjos 1 when I bought the 2500 the same day and just put in the 10,000 hours on it so I know it completely and never switched to the newer ones. Didn’t want to go thru the learning curve

Did you watch the entire video? The 2500 comes up towards the end. The 4000 was to demonstrate how jjos is similar on the 2500.
