when u use looper to sample midi some delay is happening in standalone mode there is a delay due to slow sync with standalone midi like some keyboard or sound modules etc

Great video bro. only that It won't work for me. I can hear my voice when I press on record but It won't start recording the sample for some reason. I have my input as Mono and Stereo Output. I am using an old 6i6 scarlet. I don't know if I am doing something wrong but as far as I know there should be a signal and the recording should start by its self which doesn't happen for me.

MPC Beats has a file browser in it. Just use it to locate audio files (samples) from your computer hard drive or an external drive (doesn't matter). Select the sample and drag it into your project.

I'm working with the Akai MPK mini MK3, but i have a question: How do I stop the repeat of a song? for example I have a sample chopped & setup with a beat, everything is ok until I hit the spacebar to stop all the music, & when that happens, the sample continues to play for about 3 or 4 seconds then it stops. lol thanks.. Tbh, I think you should do like me and buy all your hand percussion (the shaker only cost me $10). Trust me, it's far more rewarding! I have an African percussion shop by house.. I stay in that mofo!!! If I have room for a full sized Djembe and Congas. I buy those in a heart beat. Nothing is more healing it your soul & body like playing percussion.

Just go here and download Asio4all which is free www.asio4all.org/ Then in MPC Beats go to Preferences and under MIDI/Sync select Asio4all v2 as the device. Never use regular windows drivers when using ANY DAW!!!

@@deepset yes. You can adjust it way up with the knobs to the left. I forget what that display is but it has a minutes and hrs adjuster if you look close. I will look when I get home so I can give you the specifics if you dont find it but, yea, it was right in front my face

I don't think there's a way to delete a saved project from within MPC Beats. IYou'll just need to find where the project files are on your hard drive and delete them there.

The same happened to me. I dunno if this is what helped or not but I think one of the questions is like do u have hardware or something and I put yes instead of no the first 2 times and after like 20 minutes I finally got the link. Hope it helps

Ave I ran into a issue and need your expertise: So basically I recorded my sample as you referenced in your video. I then trimmed certain parts and created new samples. However, when I try to drag those new samples onto the pads within a program I don’t hear anything. Any suggestions 🤷🏾‍♂️

Are you play the proper pad bank? Example: The MPC drum program has multiple pad banks (A, B, C, D, etc.) If you switch to pad bank B and try to play whatever you put in pad bank A. It will have no sound. Also, make sure the sample are in your sample pool..

Yea I’m definitely in the right bank and the samples are in the pool. What I did was I basically sampled song off KZbin and while in “Trim” mode I basically adjusted start and end points manually and extracted each loop as “new sample” while still in trim mode. I know I could have just manually chopped while in “chop” mode but that workflow is still a bit confusing for me to get the concept. So now I have all my samples but when I drop and drag onto pad I get nothing.

I figured it out man, basically when I wasn’t getting any sound when I dropped and dragged sample because the “erase” button next to the “16 level” was highlighted; so it was preventing me from getting sound... SMH. I fixed it by hovering over “Erase” and then right-clicking. Thanks for all your support man.
