They did something similar with the Key 61. People look through those files. A picture of boxes with MPC Key 37 in front of Guitar Center in NYC was leaked. That to me says it's indeed the official name. I'm definitely copping this. I currently don't have a standalone MPC, so this would be a good starter

You’re right, bro. I stay up on gear and I’ve noticed the same pattern: “leaks and rumors” give way to hype from content creators discussing them. That leads to a buzz in online communities, and that buzz and the people in those communities are partly converted into sales and customers when the product finally drops. Seems to be the most dominant of the current marketing strategies. I like your channel and I appreciate what yo do man. You or your team should try reaching out to some of these companies…see if you can’t get your hands on some demo gear before it hits the market. A genuine review from a trusted content creator has the ability to do a lot of good for a lot of people these days.

The thing is that Akai did send me gear but unfortunately they stopped sending me hardware. So i have to hinest and say i was in on the cycle for a little bit.

Everything about your observation about the hype is accurate in my opinion!!! My personal opinion I have to remain indifferent about this because of what you brought to the light!!! I mean I get the competition thing but the older I get the less excited I am when it comes to certain companies!!!

Red and Synth Action keys. It’s not for me though but I’m cool with my Mpk Mini Plus.

I think every time a product gets released they should at least up there game and give us a brand new pioneering feature that gets us excited about the new product, in this case its just a mpc one with keys .. right , that's it

I think stuff gets leaked on purpose so content creators can create noise about it. Leaked are timed and done on purpose.

Clearly Akai meant it to leak because they put the screenshot of it in an email. Akai is releasing all variants of the MPC they can imagine. It’s It nice but not for me. I think the existing hardware has gone as far as it can and they need to start thinking about what the next generation will look like.
