Always. Got the Pad Thai 2 expansion and I'm getting back to the "One Loop per day paradigm". But, I'll stop and focus on some beats I have to finish first (like one or 2,then it's dry town) :D

My MPC One comes in a couple days. Looks like I'm gonna be following you for tips. Love ur style brah
I ordered myself a MPC ONE after watching a couple of your vids (and seeing that you have many other vids). My brain won't stop with the possibilities. Glad you like the ONE, I couldn't quite get myself to pay more for the LIVE. Thank you! I've been binge watching you for the last few days...and will continue until I receive (it was shipped 1/1/22) soon. I have an AKAI EWI (wind instrument) and I'm assuming it will work seamlessly with their MPC line.

Thanks a lot Robert! I'm glad to hear that my channel is helpful and I definitely recommend the mpc one! the dedicated buttons are so good for a seemless workflow..Once you get your mind wrapped around the sequences, tracks and programs, you're good to go, have fun!

ich habe ja meine mpc auch durchgespielt aber eine sache ist mir schleierhaft. vielleicht kannst du ja helfen. kann man auch ein effekt sidechainen? also zum besispiel ein filter?
@Marrcello2 жыл бұрын
Also man kann zb einen Effekt auf einen return legen und danach den mother ducker draufpacken und dann duckt der Effekt bei allem das den Input drauf hat..das mach ich bei delays und vocals..

You think running external midi like electric guitar (I have an amp modeler and interface) and my korg monologue for the rhythm section would be a good enough kit? Been reading the MPC doesn't have great effects compared with the SP's like the new 404. I've even seen some guys using both a roland sampler like a 404 and a MPC One together. Seems to me that you wouldn't need all that, what you think? Thanks again !
@connormurphy51733 жыл бұрын
Kit will be MpC for arrangement and all that good stuff, and then the Monologue and Guitar thru my Fractal Axe III (has 5 pin midi )

I love your videos man. Is there any reason you’ve been using the one more than the live lately in your videos? I’ve had the og live but the retro one is calling my name and they have an open box for cheaper, just wondering if you think the workflow or anything is better on the one.
@user-mb8rf7qk5q3 жыл бұрын
The workflow on the one is so nice and the buttons are just perfection..it’s just more intuitive to be honest. Once you get the flow of it, it’s addictive!
@Marrcello3 жыл бұрын
Glad to hear that!😀 I sold the live when I got the one..because the one has a lot more dedicated buttons than the live mk1 and I didn't want to use the Touchscreen that often.that makes my workflow more effective and fun.the only thing I miss is the bigger pads of the live ..the retro one looks so dope

Inspiring video! I’d like to know what the vocals processing is (assuming you’re doing it in Ableton afterwards?). It still amazes me how you implement the endless possibilites of this device in your workflow. Cheers!

Thanks man! In this case I actually recorded the vocals to an audio track on the mpc and mixed it on the mpc as well..Thanks for tuning in!🙏🙌✌

@@Marrcello Oh!!! Really? Well, I am now even more curious than ever! Seriously, besides producing melodies and sequencing my main goal is singing and vocal recording and I know it’s possible to do that with great results. Of course I need to experiment more on that…
@Marrcello3 жыл бұрын
@@PabloDeModeOfficial:) 😃 👌 the only thing the mpc is not great at is de-essing but even for that you can find a solution by automating the level of some of the s and t sounds..
@PabloDeModeOfficial3 жыл бұрын
@@Marrcello Okay, that’s good to know cause I always have to de-esser my voice somehow… Even when it’s not heavily noticed at first. Also I have to improve my melodies (I’m not always happy when playing them, I need to tell a short story in that melody that keeps people engaged and that could take me weeks to reach; that happened to one of my songs which is on my channel, namely “ella tenía todo el tiempo del mundo”, the intro melody… uff…)

Dope! Do you use audio tracks to record these vocals? And have you ever added like doubles? I of course hear the adlibs of 'oh' and 'yeah', which is cool. But some of these lyrics are suited for some doubles to really give a boost. Anyway, you know what I mean. I am aware sometimes the faster raps get messy with doubles.
@Marrcello3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! In this case I recorded the vocals to an audio track and I didn't add any doubles, which I normally do (to emphasize the rhymes). I will do a video on how I record and edit&mix vocals on the mpc soon!

I do a lot of similar things but instead of muting I actually erase the stuff I don’t want in each part. Your way is a lot faster.
@Marrcello3 жыл бұрын
👍👍 I sometimes erase individual notes after I converted the song into a sequence, for example some drum sounds at the end of 4 bars or so..

Great video but the workflow is no flow if you cut some parts in the flow you know? I think thats the way to go. . . . So i can see how the workflow works
