2007 I made my first "Beat" on Garage Band . Three Years later I started rapping and got the MPC 500.
At first it was frustrating^^ and my Beats were trash. But then I enjoyed it more and more..
Eventually I gave up rapping in order to focus more on making Beats..
Now I'm making Beats on the Mpc One and Ableton and I also started rapping again :)

La fonction est dispo en bas du piano Roll aussi, dans les effets à la place de vélocité tu tournes jusqu'à portamento time, ensuite tu as juste dessiner les courbes là où tu veux que sa glide. Pareil pour portamento quantize, legato, ...

Yes, select the pad (tap it), go to program edit>master page>switch sample play from one shot to note on.>you can edit the end if note in grid view.

to be fair, its well hidden and rather complicated to access..if it were basic, it would be located somewhere basic like in the program edit section. And yes, portamento is a basic function but this video is about where its located. Maybe you should make some mpc tutorials if you're an expert.
