KatPiss TheArtist you could probably just use a second email, start a second account, and use that for the 3 months (100 credits each month), download those 300 hits/sounds then cancel it before it the 4th month starts. Stack up a bunch of extra sounds.

Hi Matthew, when I sync Splice to my SD I only see my samples by one category only and that is "By Pack". I cant view it by bpm or instrument or anything else. I have to drill down 3 or 4 levels deep just to get to one sample at a time. Would you know why that is?

Just switched my splice folder to a SD card but now it won't show me all the sub folders for BPM, instrument,key ,tags ,etc. How do it get that back?

I have the MPC one plus do I still need to connect a Ethernet cable because when I hit the icon "check for update"..it's telling me there are no new samples available for downloading from spice ...and when I go to my Browser and click the Spice icon ..there isn't nothing there on the screen for me to listen to did I do some wrong?

Once they are downloaded they are downloaded. They work for me offline. Just need to connect again to resync new samples.

Great tutorial is there anyway I change my default drive from the internal memory to the ssd card. I initially downloaded to to my Mpc live and now of course Im out of room. But when I try to change the drive it shows have no sample loops from Splice to download. Can i erase the previous sounds from Splice from internal memory and redownload the sounds to the SSD?

Thank you for that video. Quick question: In the video it said that if you press "sync," you had to download all 175 samples. Does that mean Splice only has 175 samples to choose from or are those 175 samples that you saved in Spice that you wished to download into the MPC One? I apologize for my ignorance, but I am very new to all of this. And I am happy to hear that you teach a course on the MPC One. I had no idea. Thankfully someone in the comment section eluded to that. Dude, I need help. MPC just released a new firmware update that made me reconsider my current setup wiring. I also just got the Tascam Model 12 mixer. I also have a MPC Live, an RME Babyface Pro DAC, which outputs to a BoarderPatrol DAC - then a PrimaLuna EVO 400 tube amp. I'm trying to determine the best signal path where I can feed the MPC Live to the Model 12, and then through the Babyface. I have the following equipment that I'm trying to integrate audio/midi: Moog Matriarch, DSI Tempest, Roland SPD 30, Shure KSM44A mic, and Ibanez guitar. I want to use my Linnstrument as the midi interface. Any suggestions? I wish the Model 12 had a SPDIF output... Thanks Matt!!!

Solved! You have to format the SD card using the MPC. After syncing the all the Splice samples sorted by category on the card.

@@9inedeezBaby you have to format the SD card using the mpc not pc or Mac. Then sync using the splice function on the mpc but target the SD card rather than the internal memory. Then all your splice samples will be in the SD card and all categorised properly.

has anyone figured out why the MPC converts splice to "Flac" files when you sync them from the mpc? It makes no sense that they partnered together and their stuff doesn't work. I put my ethernet cable in, go to splice from the MPC ONE, hit sync, all my files come over just fine, but then they are somehow converted to FLAC files, so the mpc won't play anything. That's extremely frustarting from a stand alone stand point. I know there are workarounds, but that should not be the go to, if this is a feature they came together with.

Not directly in the MPC that I am aware of.. You can download the app on your computer and download the samples and transfer them one by one manually to a SD card or USB drive.

Primeiro tens que baixar os samples no splice via a aplicação no teu smartphone ou computador e depois no mpc vais ao splice e carregas aonde diz sync files ou seja sincronizar arquivos, ele aqui mostra no minuto 3:56 no video e cada vêz que baixares um sample voltas a repetir o mesmo passo sincronizar arquivos ou check for updates ou seja verifique se há atualizações no splice e terás acesso a todos os samples baixados no teu mpc, espero têr te ajudado quanto a isso.

I downloaded the sounds to my external hardrive, but when I try to load the sounds to chop them, they don't play. does it always have to be plugged in to the Ethernet cable in order for the MPCone to recognize these sounds?

Once the sounds are downloaded you can disconnect the ethernet cable. I did and the sounds load and work fine from the SD card.

HELP!!! I hope someone SEES THIS MESSAGE HELP! i dont use Splice nor do i have an account with splice, i create my own samples, while using my mpc 61 key with ethernet connected. some kind of way splice, being that it is preinstalled on the system was able to connect to my system network without permissision.
