I got my MPC X SE from ZZOUNDS, no interest payments and no real stress being able to stretch it out over 12 months, I bought 2 of my synthesizers the same way. Now I have a full on studio going and I don't have to only work in a DAW on controllers, life changing and way more fun. Personally the MPC X SE It is more worth it to me than a vacation, in fact it is my real mental vacation and my way forward. I am upgrading from the MPC ONE which I will also keep for mobile use. I am also going to be teaching some youth beat making and sampling using the MPC ONE. I do not have any regrets. I like the layout and less menu diving and more q-links, which is just amazing. As far as older MPCs go, they are awesome...if you can find a great sounding MPC 60 or 3000 maybe a 2000. All of the units I have had a chance at were not worth the asking price. I love the old sounds, but I also like the new options also. I am getting some great sounds out of the MPC ONE and X SE, both are really great machines. I wanted the MPC X when it first came out. I am really glad I waited because I love everything about the X SE.

Maybe you can help me out. I am a aspiring sample based beat maker. I have zero aspirations to do this professionally. I love the tactile feel of pushing buttons and don't want to deal with software or computers to make beats. With the MPC One, because of the dedicated buttons, is it still necessary to have to use the touch screen to navigate? I don't like menu diving. Although the Live II is such a popular machine, its lack of dedicated buttons makes it look like a menu diving fest. I could afford to purchase the X SE, but for hobby purposes, I am not sure if that will be overkill. Whatever thoughts you can share about the MPC One would be amazing. Thank you kindly.

Always appreciate your content new to your channel..I subscribed..my only problem with these so called “new” Mpc’s they remake a color which is ok but music is about the “sound”..and no content creators on KZbin address this..that’s why I love the older units..they sound phenomenal..these new ones you have to do so much processing to get them to mimic the “sound” of the older models..that’s why I’m switching to the Isla instruments S2400…it sounds very good like a drum sampler should in my humble opinion..I’m a purest..pretty lights and colors don’t move me nor the people of the culture..it’s about the sound..in closing look at E-A Ski recent KZbin video..he’s the only one not being biased about these “new” machines.and see what the owner of Newmark did to Roger Linn..smh..but please address that good brother..

You are 💯. I love the work flow. It's super easy to chop samples and drum breaks but the sound isn't there. I don't need a bunch of plugins for what I do. I know I'm going to get a bunch of comments saying your old head hater of the new generation MPC'S of if you that old sound but a old MPC

Nope I disagree with your statement that are computer is full of distractions like social media. My Laptop is purely for music production and only online to download sound packs, Updates, music software and plugins, and other then that its offline. Social media, KZbin and Email is done from, and web search is done from My Android tablet.
