Former NHL player Chris Nilan said the worst day of his life was when he got traded from Montreal to Boston! And he’s from Massachusetts! He’s been retired for a while now,and still “to this day”lives outside of Montreal !There are no better hockey fans anywhere!

This podcast is something I look forward to every week, and we get it twice a week! I like to listen to it while I play NHL 25, and it messes with my mind when a player gets mentioned in the episode, and the person mentioned is who I just passed the puck to HAHA!! ::ahem:: If you take requests, I hope there's an episode featuring Hannah Bilka in the near future.

So happy to hear that Abby is happy to be playing in Montreal! For sure a lot of fans (myself included) were worried she didn’t want to be there pre-season, but she has very quickly become such a fan favourite and is SO loved by the city 🫶

Your point about Montreal seeming to not get cocky is really well made, and maybe needs to be underscored a little bit. Definitely other teams in the league that could learn from that.

THANK YOU!!!!! as a new/old fan of womens hockey I wasn't sure what I was missing about the rivalry series. Like it felt pointless and risky to me but I didn't wanna "talk out my ass". I hate the break. I hate that our teams risk injury. I hate that they lose momentum. This is their livelihood and their job, we need to respect it as such

In regards to the Rivalry Series, I do think we still need international friendlies. Women’s soccer has international friendlies throughout the year. It’s a chance for different players to prove themselves on a national level. I think we need to integrate more teams. I think Finland & Czech need to get involved. Germany & Switzerland & Japan too. Get more teams in the mix. I think that’s how we get to a level on par with international women’s soccer. I think it re-emphasizes that the US & Canada are the only contenders. 100% agree on Jessie Eldridge snub though!!

The international break is for the Olympic qualifying tournament, as per the CBA, not the Rivalry Series, so they wouldn't be playing this week regardless. Will be interesting to see if there's any suspensions from that Mtl-NY game. Poulin maybe/maybe not, but Murphy had a nasty headshot on fillier

Charge have improved on faceoffs and shots on net in past couple of weeks, but until they lose this habit of serving pucks on a silver platter to the opponent, I don't see them competing for anything else than the gold plan. Glad that others agree that rivalry series should be axed

Yes, Tessa! Rivalry series is a waste. The women get paid to play in the PWHL. Why risk injury for meaningless games? The Olympic rosters will be filled by the players in this league.
