Incredible & spectacular video @ Hillclimbs - St.Ursanne / Switzerland, European Championship !
@aydinvideo10 жыл бұрын
This is my favorite kind of auto racing, it's just so awesome to watch! Here's an idea to make it even more exciting.. Each car gets 2 qualification runs, and then the 2 times are averaged out to get their qualifying time. Then they are lined up on a grid- all at once, so every car is on the track together, and the race starts like a normal F1 race, standing start for all cars on green flag.. However, The fastest qualifiers get say, 50 points, which will be added to their scores in the championship- so getting a good qualification time is a HUGE part of winning the overall title. . Winning a race will get you 50 points, as well, so there's a big incentive to qualify in pole position- since it's essentially both a time trial AND a normal race, all in one. HOWEVER, unlike typical races in other race series, the FASTEST qualifying cars start at the BACK of the grid, with the SLOWEST drivers in the front. That way, there will be some truly epic racing as the fastest cars battle their way to the front in the race. The cheating aspect is nullified, because if a fast car purposely qualifies slowly, so as to take pole position in the actual race, they lose all the points that could be acquired by taking pole position.. I think this formula would dramatically increase the excitement of an already amazing type of racing. It could be called PP-TT-RR. haha, Pole position Time trial Rally race. LOL.

sweet baby jesus, that red f1 car is hell on earth
@Chuckl88110 жыл бұрын
belgiumlife: Amen to that! That car, with the sound bouncing off the hills, is beyond belief ! I've heard lots of F1 engines before, but never at a hillclimb. Huge difference from listening to them in wide open spaces. Imagine hearing that thing coming at you if you didn't know what it was? "Oh, geez! I'm dead!!"

Chuck Lane sorry to break this to you , but its a gp2, even though, its awesome as hell

HillclimbChampion - Yikes! "Only" a GP2?? That's even more impressive, considering how quiet the current crop of F1 cars are. One of my favorite F1 engines was the Matra-powered Gitanes car from the 1970s, an ear-splitting, instant headache-producing, super-high-pitched ultra-screamer that gave people nightmares. I loved it! And thanks for the correction, seriously.
