This is an art born from the streets. Animation's shit is gangster. That's one of the main reasons he's such a legend. He hits harder than damn near everyone, his waves are deeper, shit, just look how he explodes on a simple float at the end of this. Dudes from overseas constantly try to talk about "style" but they miss the main ingrediant: this shit is street. A lot of gangster roots in this dance.

I do feel what your saying. he is definitely an entertainer and I do understand ur point. but...I think its coz wen I was watchin the circles in Juste Debout, u see people try to hit the beat/dance to the music and then when salah comes there is just something about his dancng. He knew every word to every song he danced to and hit perfect timed parts of the song. I enjoy watching that.

yeah ur right. no one should compare Salah and Nam even though they are very good dancers and i myself enjoy watching them dance. but no one should compare them to the legends such as Mr. Animation or Poppin Pete and the other OG's. although yes salah and nam are very good. they could never been what they are without the legends.

Mr. Animation is probably the best popper ever! he's my favorite popper anyway. There may be others with more technique, but he has technique and STYLE FOR DAYS! As Clinton Sparks would say, 'Get familiar!'

I just recently came back from Juste Debout Paris and I got to see Salah dance in quite a few circles. His styles are not Wack, by any means. Agreed he is not your conventional popper and that is why he doesn't always win contests. He is a good Bboy, awesome locker, his popps/tuts are not strong but his concepts are second to none and the man can feel a beat. Have you seen him live?

joon sucks why does everyone keep reppin him when its painfully obvious he has no SOUL IN HIS MOVEMENTS. technically hes very good (i might be giving him too much credit especially after i saw that kin battle, those waves were terrible), but its a dance goddamnit and simply hitting popping harder or having cleaner waves doesnt make you a GOOD dancer
