The moment you lump in with Logan Paul, you loose practically all credibility that you are acting in good faith. He has such a long and shady history that partnering with him means you know his history and think it's "acceptable" at the very least.

A million dollars may not be a a lot to MrBeast, but he's a self admitted gambling addict, so that plays into it I think. Anything to get that part of his brain to light up. He doesn't see it himself, but when you're on the out looking in you can see the shady from all angles.

To me, if the charity is for the sake of boosting his image, his channel, and ultimately gains him more money than he puts into it, that's not charity. That's just doing business. Edit: "It's not an explicit endorsement" that's the exact defense Mr. Beast tried to use. Edit 2: The Gary Vee part is what I think is the *closest* to direct market manipulation. As for the insider trading, I think it's more of a pattern of pumping and dumping. Edit 3: I think you also passed over the part where Mr. Beast reached out to them to invest. Not the fund, Mr. Beast. Edit 4: Bringing up another company that's far worse doesn't change the fact that the company/name in question did and continues to do bad things. That's relative privation.

Signal boosting crypto as a famous personality is the same thing as endorsing it, only reason he didn't outright say it is because that would be illegal with no wiggle room for people like you to defend him.

Exactly. But that wiggle room is important. I won't be surprised if the eventual follow-up has more damming details. So far it looked legal adjacent. But that's easy to tip into a flat-out scam depending on verifying just how much coordination everyone had. The really damaging part, so far, was the meeting he described everyone attending. That level of coordination before purchases reeks of shady practices at the best interpretation. Edit: Just for the record, while I do enjoy playing devils advocate, I don't disagree with your take.
