I did think it was an alright interview until I found out that Oompaville received money from Mr Beasts Creative juice company a few years back, sure Oompa has bought out his contract from them but the fact that it wasnt disclosed that one of Mr Beasts endeavors directly invested in Oompavilles channel in return for 10% ownership till the beginning of this year is very shady and like hiding a conflict of interest.

I think my 2 biggest problems with Mr Beast's defense aside from the corporate responses is Mr Beast is playing this aloof balancing act of "oh I was too retarded" or "oh I really don't think much about it" & I get SOME level of ignorance but his company & entrepreneur stuff is successful for a reason, you can't just claim "oh I'm just stupid, I don't know what's going on" when you're clearly very intelligent investment wise & successful business wise. The 2nd thing is I can see how Mr Beast could be taken advantage of by bad actors via some crypto advisor however I think Mr Beast being flaky & outright lying AT BEST makes it look like he found out something sketchy happened but wanted to keep a lid on it (the problem being another Delaware situation where background checking wasn't properly done) at worst Mr Beast got into a sketchy crowd, didn't think anything would come about it, and the charity stuff would make people not look too deeply

I like oompa but he had no business running that interview. I believe mr beasts team knew what they were doing with the timing- setting up the interview on 24 hours notice while everyone know oompa and the boys were filming something over a few days
