Yes, I cried also. I'm a 70 year old black at the end of my years now. A long road great memories,but mostly downward. County bars and drinks are brief escapes from freezing cold rain and clawing hunger. That song and dance will soon be over. Thank you Sammy We need you with us.

Thanks for the heads up Irish Sam... Your right - "This song has NOTHING to do with the late great Luther (Bill Bojangles) Robinson & neither does my video... I used all sorts of images to tell "the story." Black, White as well as multicoloured graphical body shapes..... I'm sorry if you were mislead. Any disservice is totally of your own making.

His name is Bill Robinson actual name was Luther Robinson born May 25 1878 in Richmond Va. Died November 25 1949 in New York....was known for his great dancing.
