I was very young but I remember really liking President Nixon the most out of all the Presidents ever. I am going to research him again to see why and if I feel the same way.

I find it amazing that many tap dancers like Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire feign singing but Sammy could really truly sing !

1971 PBS interview of Sammy Davis Jnr supporting Angela Davis's release as well as those benefit concerts for her. She was released during the Nixon administration and after the hug when everyone sold him out. Plus he was friends with Robert J Brown, Arthur Fletcher and James Farmer who were in Nixon's cabinet at the time. No other celebrity has donated more money to the civil rights movement than Sammy Davis Jnr and they sold him out for a hug.

I wonder if Sammy ever did a show like this for the NAACP or other black organizations. 😊
