Here is my English version of Owarinaki Tabi (Endless Journey) by Mr.Children! ミスチルの「終わりなき旅」を英語で歌ってみました♪
This is my favorite Mr.Children song. I'm afraid I didn't do it justice because there were a lot of chords I'm not used to, so my playing is rather stilted and the tempo is sort of all over the place. But I hope my version helps English-speakers appreciate this song :)
ミスチルの曲の中で一番好きな曲です♪
なので、もっと上手に弾きたかったのですが、普段弾かないコードがたくさんあって苦労しましたし、テンポもめちゃくちゃになってしまいました(^_^;)　しかし、この英語バージョンが色々な方に役立てば嬉しいです(^O^)

This is a very interesting/hard song to translate to english. I am beyond impressed with you delivery and ability to do this song justice as as translation. Kudos and mad respect for you to translate the ideas and make them rhyme in the original/proper cadence. YOU ROCK, GUNBARRE NE!

Im sorry for mentioning in japanese(ToT) Mr.Childrenは私の一番好きな歌手であり、 終わりなき旅は彼らの曲の中で最も好きな曲です！ 私が言うのはおかしいですが、素晴らしい歌声でカバーして下さってありがとうございます！lol ちなみになんですが、1番のAメロの歌詞 "かんなみたいにね 命を削ってさ 情熱を灯しては" ここの『かんな』は 角材を間引くための工具である『鉋』と 花言葉が"情熱"である『カンナ』という植物の ２つの意味が込められているそうですよ 既に知っていらっしゃったらすみません！ これからも日本の曲、歌って下さい:-)

+吉田純平 コメントありがとうございます♪ 私のカバーを気に入って頂いてとても嬉しいです(^O^) 私も、ミスチルの曲の中でこの曲が一番好きなんですが、歌詞に出てくる「カンナ」に二つの意味があるということは知りませんでした！カタカナにしたのはそのためでしたかね。「命を削る」との歌詞なので、単に「鉋」という意味だと思ってそれを前提に解釈しました。（これだけで既にダブルミーニングですね。） 花言葉の意味も含めているというのはすごく面白いです！しかし、訳す時にたとえこの情報を知っていたとしても、英語の「grater」にはこういう二重の意味はもちろんないので、訳し方に影響は出なかったのでは。。。 教えて頂いてありがとうございます！新しいことを知りましたヽ(´▽｀)/

Hi there :) This is my favorite Japanese song. Im like 50 50 hearing this cover. I like it but i dislike it at the same time (because some of the lyrics sounds very awkward) lol. i hope you understand the feeling. On the bright side, this cover allows me to learn the meaning of the song in a fun way. I like the melody of this song but i dont really understand anything lol. Thank you for that. You have a great voice btw. Your voice is easy to remember. Just need to find a stepping stone. All the best :)

This is my favorite Mr. Children song, so I wanted to give it a shot, and I think it turned out well for the most part, but there are some parts where it's just not meant for English :/ Some songs lend themselves better to translation that others. Perhaps if I had used different phrasing, but I like to stick as close to the original meaning as possible while rhyming as much as possible :) Also, it was a bit hard to play this song on guitar so that might add to why it doesn't sound as good as it could :$
