MR Easiest Kulve Taroth Grind - Hunter Helper Abuse (Kulve Materials From High Rank Quests) | MHW IB

Hi all, sorry for the delay but work's been a little exhausting (when isn't it tbh x_x). Following on from the previous video on skipping the safi'jiiva hunt, I have a similar method but for Kulve Taroth. It involves using the hunter helper mechanic to grind out gold prints and then spending them on high rank kulve taroth gemstones (glimstone). These can then be melded for her weapons, at a rate of two per ticket. Hunter helper works when you help out a low/high rank player who's put out an sos (high rank gives gold prints).

Spreadsheet info:
I have a spreadsheet which collects all sorts of data on Monster Hunter World Iceborne that people ask about a lot - things like the materials needed to upgrade the best charms (e.g. handicraft, expert etc), a list of all the guiding land monster drops and gathering nodes (plus it's searchable), what materials you need for every possible augment (attack, affinity, defence, health, slot, element/status) in the game, etc:

It also includes things like a list of ALL the 4 slot decorations (including even the rare 12 ones which ONLY drop from sealed feystones) so you know the best deco's to aim for when farming. It even has detailed images for the guiding land gathering nodes (the one's that drop materials like the guiding dragonbones/crystals etc) which you need for custom weapon upgrades/augments!
My list of guiding land drops can be sorted either by drop type (so it finds the monster to fight for a particular part) or you can use it to just find the parts belonging to any monster (no more pulling your hair out over how to get those Enchanting Finehide/Trancehide for your health augments!). This goes up to and includes the tempered elders (speaking of which, check out my 5 slot tempered investigation farming macro if you haven't already!)
It also has a Safi'Jiiva relic checklist to easily monitor which awakened weapons you're missing from the new siege!

Did Capcom fixed that MR Kulve Quest or is there still a DPS check? I already have about 60 golden prints and about 30 KT stones and about thousands of all the other materials from HR Kulve but can not do anything with that because of that MR Event Quest.

@@ConsOA It always depends on the Monster, mostly i use Gunlance but for some i use LBG, HBG (Clutch Claw, mostly for Safi), Dual Blades and Bow. For MRKulve i've tested Duals, CB, Morphaxe, Lance, Gunlance, LBG (Styx fully augmented) but none of those have really worked for me. I can not do multiplayer as i don't have PS+ and i do not want to support Sony with their PS+, i would rather spend that money on Save Wizard.

I don't have the "Kulve Alchemy" or "Kjar Alchemy" options in my melder yet. I think it depends on you beating Master rank Kulve at least once.

Thanks for the info! Personally as someone who had to solo for lack of wifi (I have it now) I'm against helping on assignment quest. I'm a much better hunter for learning the monsters without help and I feel I've mastered my weapons because of it. Recently I was helping someone on the red orb dante quest. I ate for felyne safeguard just in case so the HR hunter I was helping would have a cushion. He had low MR and HR which means he probably rushed through the game to get to iceborne. He carted three times. Thankfully he stayed back so I could finish the quest for him. He already had the dante charge blade so I'm guessing it wasn't the first time he was helped with this quest given what I saw. Hunters like this who rush through the game and sos everything end up in your safi quest and get one shoted when it looks at them. Armor and weapons don't make the hunter, time , experience, and learning the monster and your tools do. I think we should help but I also think we should be selective or else it'll bite us later. That's why I don't tend to help with assignment quest, anything else and I'm there👍.

I always struggle with figuring out how to handle this, and I quite like the "dont join assigned" idea, but at the same time if someone has SOS'ed theyre asking for help and i dont think i could withold that help to teach players to get better personally Youre right tho, we need to avoid carrys. And yeah I solo 95% of my quests also, and im definitely better for it But at the same time, not everyone has to be great at the game, and if some people who struggle just want to get through the hunts with some help then I think its important to help them, even if that might make some safi lobbies have some less skilled players Idk its such a difficult issue because both sides make really good points. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts

Dude im a DB main as well and i got all the elemental charge blades, 3 of the bows, 3 of the switch axes, both good hunting horns, both good insect glaives, and the one good lance (with all the elemental HBGs that ill never use). Along with tonnes of "bad" weapons ... And still no water dual blades.

hey cons once again you've done it! Could not get a kjarr HBG to save my life and had 250 gold prints laying around. i got the Kjarr assault ice hbg with about 20 melds. Waaayyy easier then that farming slog.(geez i knew i would be rewarded for helping those high rank players).

Is there any quest that I can easily farm “Large Elder Dragon Bone”? I can hunt mr kulve but I already run out of the bone. RNGesus never bless me.

monsterhunterworld.wiki.fextralife.com/Large+Elder+Dragon+Bone The wiki says that would have the best shot at farming bones in the quest "The Winter Blues" with a 30% drop rate. Other than that, every Elder seems to drop these at a rate of around 8~14%

find an elder you can kill easily and quickly, and just grind it out for a bit i think. there might be better ways to do dedicated farms, but idk they can also drop as common investigation rewards, so elders in quests with lots of bronze slots would speed it up a bit

every elder dragon , plus if you go in a sos for the first ruiner quest (the one before shara) he drops only bones , so if you find any go do that

Of course, it's just a general thought, and by no means a hard and fast rule, just do whatever you think it best
