Mr. Fastfinger - Awaki-Waki - Stringweaver - GuitarBots game

Opening track from "Stringweaver" -- new digital mini album by Mr. Fastfinger. Available from all major digital download stores.
Mr. Fastfinger's third release "Stringweaver" is a mini album with four musical scenes. The neck bends, the notes fly, the pick strikes sharper than an arrow. The 6 strings are vibrating with all emotions, passion, joy, excitement, surprising elements and positive energy. Music is drawing images and scenes in your ear. Have sense of adventure, open your mind for this vivid ear traveling experience. He's got that flow, he's back on the beach.
Song "Awaki-Waki" was originally composed for "The Way of the Exploding Guitar" album. It was rediscovered from old dusty hard drive archives in december 2012. Cool commodore-64bleeps, exotic melodies, adventurous grooves and perhpas something borrowed from Led Zeppelin.
The video includes some screenshots from Ovelin's online guitar game Guitarbots. Check out the special Mr. Fastfinger's guitar game levels from www.Guitarbots.com. Practice and play these songs (1-3) with your own guitar.

Thank you very much Peter! Guitar was my custom Qian. Modded and ruined Fender stratocaster on Sandwashing. Plus Yamaha acoustic in places. The amp for all tracks were Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister. No pedals. G-system was in the chain for subtle things like EQ, little easy compression in few places. All effects like delays and reverb were added in the mix.

When i practice sweeping, my up strokes are smooth but my down strokes are atrocious. i hit the strings but its much slower than up strokes and for some reason, instead of having one continuous motion, it hops over the string have it hits it. Any tips on how I can cure myself of this? PS You're songs are pretty interesting, very unique. Good Job!

No worries, I don't think there is a song that would suit everyone. This is essentially a workout tune. The direction is in the repetition and simplicity. Bit different than the others on the EP. This light hearted, groovy song about the joy of rehearsing. Didn't try to change the world this time ;)

Did you see my Sweeping tutorial that I posted one or two months ago. Have you tried to change the angle of your pick when you change the direction. I'd experiment with that. Other wise it's hard to say what your be wrong without seeing.

My new guitar has Wilkinson VSVG, it's absolutely fantastic. My old guitar, seen in this video has a Wilkinson VS100. In my opinion VSVG is better!

Some people have a tendency to associate certain musical expression with the sexuality, in which case playing like in the above video quite literally becomes sexy. I know this because I'm on of those people. It's not like the mind is in full control of it's shenanigans, especially considering purely feeling related associations.
