Yeah, no way I could compete with you. I'm just an animated character with a funny voice, while you're an actual real live person. With your intellect and your experience you're practically a god. All my verbalized thoughts definitely fall woefully short of your fancy inquiring mind's research. Whatever I spew right here could be said better by you, my friend. But you just - don't need to. You can express your public stances by simply clicking on the "Like" button, or with a smug comment, "So what?" And take notice that no one will dare to reproach you with dialectic relativism. Definitely no one will reproach you with THAT. It must be awesome - being you.
There once was a wise old teacher. He was so great that people didn’t even understand what they could learn from him. Some said he used to be some kinda filthy rich and powerful businessman, But then he forsook the vanities of the world after realizing the true nature of life. And then one seeker the very bravest of all of them, comes to him and says: “O Great and Wise Teacher! I'm disappointed in this world. It's rotten to the very core! Help me obtain the vision of Truth, please!” Then the teacher answered: “Okay. I shall impart to thee the truest knowledge. But, first - could you help me out by bringing me a gizmo that can…” And the teacher whispered something right into the seeker's ear.
Overjoyed, the seeker ran off to buy the gizmo. He asked but no one knew a thing about it. Well, he felt too embarrassed to come back empty handed. so he went to another town, then another, further and further, but nobody anywhere had heard of such a device. So many long years later the seeker, who by then was a businessman who owned many amazing device factories, returned to the place he'd first heard of the rare gizmo-device thingy. And he brought with him a whole train load of amazing equipment. The seeker was pleased with himself, he had designed and produced things that had never existed before. He HAD to be worthy to learn the truth now. Right? But the Teacher's hut was empty. The seeker had come too late for the most important lesson of his life. He ordered the devices he'd brought with him be given to the townsfolk and he settled in the Teacher's hut. But soon he was visited by new seekers. They asked: “O, Great Teacher, what must we do to grasp the True Meaning of things?” The teacher smiled: “Okay. I'll tell you... But first could you bring me a little gizmo that…” And he whispered something into the seekers' ears. Well? Did you listen to the story?
So what?

E to the squared definitely, but at the end of the day the more philosophy people expose themselves to, nihilist or optimistic, the more they can move to forming a philosophy of their own. At very least I think theses allow for an accessible societal philosopher

Nathen Paige But having a nihilist like mr freeman introduce philosophy in such a presentable way to the masses of uneducated people will form a new frontier of philosophical minds who don't look to the past for instruction, or at least they won't even consider the optimist view. Mr Freeman does do a good job, but his videos are often one sided philosophically.

Here's my interpretation: no one person can simply tell you the truth of everything. The only way to learn what's true is to go out and find out for yourself. I think Mr. Freeman is presenting himself as the teacher. He is saying that he cannot give you the truth, but that he simply wants you to ask the questions that will lead you to the truth yourself. Because truly, he cannot answer those questions for you.

I believe there is a more sinister prespective to this. If you listen to every word carefully the original teacher asks for help first. Not saying the gizmo was the truth, simply an exchange of services. The man went looking for something that never existed and when he came back for an answer, was left with the same blight. The great teacher was a fool as the rest of us, and evidently searched for something to give us the answer, even delegating us do so as well. Eventually we quite literally become infected with the same mentality. The truth to life is there are no gizmos to help, don't fall into greed.

When the original seeker asked the teacher for the meaning of life he was instructed to make a gizmo, when he couldn’t make it, he wouldn’t return until he was able to construct such a gizmo but the “teacher” was gone. So the old seeker took the teachers place and did the same as the teacher. Our leaders are just us dressed up with fancy titles on their names. That’s the lesson

@@bear1921 from stories ive heard about Zen and enlightment, one must go through an almost impossible task to truly be enlightened. No one can tell you Truth and make you enlightened (not even wise teachers) unless you do it on your own. It is usually the strongest and bravest who commit to the impossible tasks/journey. The journey may take years or even a whole life time but it is on the journey that they find enlightment. \ there is a story of a man who wants enlightment. So he goes to an enlightened teacher and the teacher tells him to pound rice. Every day for 12 years the man pounded rice and he only stopped to sleep. He did this everyday for 12 years and then finally he became enlightened and became the head of the monastery that he first found the enlightened teacher at. I.... understand, in previous videos he talked about the cannibalism of people but what ment was "feeding" off of other peoples labor, same thing with the teacher and seeker, the teacher "cannibalized" the seeker for ideas that therefore feeding himself, so by the time the teacher wasn't "immortal" the seeker had learned the way to "cannibalize" other fellow men and down the road those new seekers had then learned the "sacrifice" of cannibalizing others for food or in more modern term, tricking others into finding this gizmo, giving them the distraction that they are working for themselves but there actually working for the teacher..... How can the teacher benefit off the labor of the seeker , when in the end the teacher isn’t even available when the seeker returns with the fruits of his labor ? The tale is about the Journey, it’s the call to adventure for something that isn’t attainable… it’s what you become through the journey and what you learn … the absolute truth is life is a game of self discovery and soul expression , the other absolute is love , not love as in romance but love as in acceptance of the whole , night and day, acceptance and rejection , sense and nonsense, ying and yang

But it’s all true all the people do is sit back and enjoy a fake reality while Cannibalism is being force fed into their mind to feel the subjection of happiness. They feel like they make a great discoverer being thought the same thing while we sit back tearing each other apart to try to be a free thinker but have no motivation to truly speak or to go out that’s why teachers teach teachers how to teach others the same basic knowledge that they are being fed that’s why we are stuck as people who can’t think for themselves. That’s why we are slaving for money we think of it as a currency when it truly has no value to it. It’s printed by someone else to keep us in the same spot we were in yesterday. Their is no true freedom we are to think we are in a cage with the lock thrown away. On the cage their is money attached we can’t reach it all but we can be thought how to get some. Freedom is a teaching taught by teachers to keep living in the fake reality we call cannibalism.

I interpreted it as the meaning of the life is to pursue a goal or a passion. That only you can define the meaning of your life, and that when you pursue something intentional such as a goal, you become engaged with your life. Business cures the mind and soul, the purpose isn't to find a gizmo, its to find and then try to make one. The pursuant of making a gizmo is the meaning of life as it propels you to make a business, do new things, meet new people, and interact with the world around you. To make a gizmo can be replaced with any other random task. The meaning of life is to strive for something and to reach it, even if you never reach it, the act of striving is what lets you truly live.

People at the top always act like they she the solution to all problems but in order to gain that knowledge you must earn it in the way they say you to have it, despite the fact that they themselves don't know how to. But because they are at the top and everyone seemingly trusts them, people follow and listen but they work for so long and do so much that some get into positions of power but those before them fell out of power before they solved the problem. Now those people who once looked for guidance have solutions to different problems but still don't know the answer to solve the original problem are exploiting the fact that now they have power and everyone looks to them so they subconsciously promise the same promise as the leaders before them. Since the solution to the world's problems are not only endless but some are almost impossible to execute, the cycle continues and that's why we have world leaders who make promises but never accomplish them.

This is interesting. Because what the first teacher did engage the seeker in engineering. Finding a problem and developing a solution to the problem. The seeker started looking for a “out of the box solution “. The seeker then took the problem and broke it down into the smallest possible pieces and developed gizmos that solved each part that when used together made a single solution. This is how software engineers think. The lesson of the teacher was teaching a new way to think, and solve problems.

After exploring some interpretations my mind burst me with a new one. If the teacher nerver disapeared ? The student becoming "teacher" just reached an other point of development, so, when coming back, for him, "his teacher was no longer her" and he did not the place of the teacher but fused with it. All student can see that thing they call teacher and then, they become themself it by elevating. Brief, you don't see and the people seeing don't see the world as the "teacher" without elevating to see what it is behind everything

I think I understand a bit of the message. A message to haters who think they know better. The idea is simplistic and if someone has something to add, feel free. “It must be awesome being you”. Which is a sarcastic remark, but also, a taunt for you to do something. Become the teacher if you think you can do better than Mr. Freeman. And when you impart your “wisdom”, it may seem esoteric and people will have to try to find the meaning among the masses, or the answers. Eventually, they either get discouraged, embarrassed, turn against the teacher, or they turn it into action (to create the gizmo themselves that they think is amazing). And when they’re successful, more people will come and ask the same question to you, as the teacher. And you will likely tell them the same thing. It’s how gurus work often. Something esoteric that is difficult to understand initially and some give up easily, others turn against the system claiming its fraudulent or such other comments. But there will be those (the few) that listen, apply it despite their disappointment of not hearing an easy answer, and in turn, eventually become the teacher. And the cycle continues… and continues…. And continues.

I would say there isn't more any message. It's a story, of a particular follower and his own life. Everyone has these questions, clearly, why doesn't anyone answer? In some way the follower was mistreated by the teacher, as the questions were never answered, but by time and himself alone. This story is a bit flawed, as clearly the one in the hut didn't have any answer, so did the next one. Then who gave you the answers? Only yourself, through time and experience and searching, questioning, so, literally, by living? As he invented things beyond the teacher, and the students will do better things then him. That's my version of the story, but what is yours? 😉

One who wishes to aquire knowledge and wisdom can't achieve it by simply going around and asking the wise their questions, one must also journey and learn from scratch, experience life, travel and observe, find goals that I'll allow you to grow and REACH the knowledge you hope to grasp.

@@dalekhunter100 I think another one of his videos had this story in full length, which made it make more sense. It was hard to know what order to watch the videos in, haha. The guru sent them out, because you can't be *told* enlightenment, you have to become enlightened, and they did so in their attempts to do what they were told.

“Quid Est Veritas”, means “What is Truth”. I think this is an important question on this channel. Mr. Freeman is teaching us how to think for ourselves, so we can figure out the fundamental question “What is Truth”. However, I think in this story the gizmo IS truth, and while we all search for the truth, we should instead work to better ourselves and the world around us, and break the system. Change the system, to make our “collective consciousness” as he called us in another video, better for all of us, for us to not compete 24/7, for us to stop indulging and becoming addicted to humanly processes and move on, and to respect the un respected.

4441 Symbolic Meaning So, what does 4441 mean spiritually and symbolically? The meaning of 4441 lies in the act of sharing. The number encourages you to be more grateful for the things you have. It also enables you to share some of your wealth with those in need. After all, not everyone is lucky enough to be blessed with peace, happiness, and financial abundance. The fact that you’re seeing 4441 means that you possess those things.

Looking beyond things upfront is the truth just a simple question : "Is death truly the end?" a simple question can unravel/reveal great truths about certain things including the purpose of life... think about it if you think that death is the end then you won't have a true purpose would you ? you would simply wonder around for the truth while being ignorant stubborn with the question that is the truth itself , and having no purpose would lead you to subconsciously not be aware of actions you wouldn't think about every action of yours since thinking death is the end you would subconsciously feel that your not accountable for things you do... sometimes a simple great question unravels/reveals many great answers/actual truth
