Nice shave, Gary. We're having a bit of a warmup in Indiana this upcoming week... getting up to 30C by Thursday. Then, we'll resume our regularly scheduled fall weather (hopefully).

Proraso Red is a great scent and my favourite Proraso jar edition scent. I missed out on the Heritage, maybe they will do another release. I think it was Paul (shavingfox) who recently did a new head shave with a new Leaf. Take care Gary🤟🤠👍

Cheers Lawrie👍 Yes it was Paul who messaged me about the Leaf✅️ I love both of the Proraso scents in a tub but usually use the Green in the summer and the red in the winter🙂

I find those modern gillettes to be much too mild to the point where i dont even waste my time head using them. While the DE89 is a mild-medium razor I find them much more efficient.

Hi Colm👋 If I am to be honest, I believe the EJ DE89/Muhle R89 heads are both manufactured by Muhle as are the Gillette KC heads. There should be no difference. I will do a comparison shave next Sat using my EJ DE89 vs The Gillette KC if I remember😉

@MrGShave thanks Gary. I know the DE89 and R89 are the same head but they feel different to me from the kcg. It'll be an interesting comparison. I hope your back isn't giving you too much trouble.
