Hard decision to pop through hood or not

I bought one. It would have been really nice after paying $232.99 to have a diagram of how to assemble the 20 + pieces, (nuts, bolts, universal threads, linkages etc) to run from the scoop to the carburetor. There was a picture of the scoop without any linkages etc in the 'diagram'. And yes, it was a Mr Gasket scoop

I have the original.dual-quad scoop. With 2 Holley double-pump style carbs. Nice!

What Supercharger would you guys recommend? I'm planning on building a '69 Charger similar to the Hell Charger from Agent's of shield but instead of a replica blower setup, I actually want a real Supercharger with the blower look.

Just curious, if I had this poking out of the hood, would it be bad to drive in the rain?

Depends? How well does your engine run on H2O? Just kidding! Although internal combustion engines can handle and burn a small amount of water (I.E. water injection systems) it's probably not a good idea to drive around with this open in a heavy downpour! I have seen people make extensions with an opening in the bottom portion only to divert water and pull fresh air from the underside. I'm sure we have some gearheads out there with some ingenuis ideas on how to solve or remedy this problem?? Let's hear your ideas motorheads!! Thx J

Hi,I have a solution!!!!!!!!here goes: A motorized electronic hood scoop that operates from the car battery’s charge that has an ON-OFF function. When active, the motors in the side would seal the scoop hatches shut, preventing any rain water from getting in the occurance of a torrential downpour

Only if you install a Flux-Capacitor!! LOL, just kidding! They can provide better air-flow to the carburetor which may increase your performance but they are sold strictly as a dress-up item with no guaranteed performance gains. Thx J

Could I put something like this on a Ssangyong Korando II from 1997 ? It's not exactly a muscle car but it sounds like one with the expanded exhaust galleries, and this is just what it needs.

Would this work with a 1992 Camaro rs

These are designed for carbureted engines, essentially just being cooler looking air cleaners to replace the normal disk style ones. The 92 Camaro RS is a fuel injected car I believe, unless it has been swapped or modified into using a carb. Enjoy your Camaro!
