Funny as HELL!!! Thats what made this show SO hysterical. Poor Oliver thinking/reactiing as a normal/sane person when everything was nutty! Mr Fred got him 3 times in a row at the end.

Those Gabors were indeed a pleasure by far a sight to behold. And of these blonde beautiful bomb shells fall for Oliver. They met while the war pushed through Europe and of course Hungary and so it's written in the show and don't have them agreeing on exactly how it all came to be. Oliver was a gentleman who respected her and family and therefore never forced himself apon her until they were married. And just how did Oliver Wendell Douglas get her to marry him? That's easy, he told her she was pregnant. With them having no children running around Green Acres we know what a lie that was. Well not a, or you could, maybe not but I can, no I can't say, we'll I could but I'd better or I shouldn't say, oh I'm not, so where do you sat Mr. Douglas? Well after all you probably lie down face up. And this brings me to assume, well I wouldn't say assume, (cause that makes an ass out of u and me) so where do you sat Mrs. Douglas, I know were I'd sat. No I don't think I would. Nothing personal Mr. Douglas oh, so why don't you just tell us since it's not personal or so you said. You have the floor , we'll not the floor, Mr Drucker might have something to say about that, after all it is his floor. That is I guess. You know I always kinda thinking assume and guessing are the same we'll not quite because there are two, is it two. Let's see there's one then two, as I said two and they are alike, could be. Do you think so? Hey, where did every body go. Hank Kimball could fill the rest of the show no really saying anything.

Did you know that Eddie Albert was offered the role of Wilbur Post, but turned it down because he wanted to work on his movie career? Zsa Zsa appeared on an episode of Mr. Ed as a woman afraid of horses. Two of her lines were: "Look everyone, I'm sitting on a horse!" and "Woman spend fortunes in beauty parlors to get what he was born with!"

I LOVE Mr Ed - VERY funny, and before I watched this, I was a bit hesitant, but, I knew that Paul Henning (the producer, who brought this series's to air) had a very warped sense of humour (just watch any episode), and even though 'Mr Fred' (a-HEM!) sounds NOTHING like Ed (for some reason, he sounds like James Stewart), he's got a bit of Ed's humour in him. He's perfect for Lisa. I loved his taluk in the barn with Oliver ('g'night, dummy'🤣), thanks, Mr Fred, I needed that 😉.

Hearing this immediately I thought of the Dean Martin Celebrity Roast. And in particular, the episode was roasting Jimmy Stewart and Rich was giving Jimmy a lesson on how to imitate Jimmy. Rich told Jimmy he needed to brush up his Jimmy Stewart because Jimmy didn't sound so much Jimmy Stewart any more. After showing Stewart how he should pose and stutter, Jimmy tried a few times. Jimmy replied " I can see why because it takes a lot of work doing Jimmy Stewart ". Just about anyone watching that could make the distinction and nail the horse's voice as Rich doing Jimmy doing the horse. Very funny stuff indeed.

A talking horse.... Not so far-fetched! This past week, I had to take my female cat to the animal hospital where she was admitted into intensive care for a serious internal problem. While she was being examined by the veterinarian doctor, the Registered Veterinarian Technician (RVT) assisting him looked at me and said "We're gonna take good care of your kitty", to which my cat looked up at me and through what could only be described as telepathic communication said "I'm not a kitty. I'm a feline!", to which I had to bring it to the attention of the RVT of what my cat just said to me. The RVT never called my cat a "kitty" after that. This is a true story, honest to God!

She has ongoing colon/motility problems that flare up when I get lax in administering all her daily medications which is basically round-the-clock. It is very challenging! I am familiar with Bast, the Cat Goddess, having studied the origins of when cats were domesticated in ancient Egypt over seven thousand years ago. Every cat you see today has an unbroken lineage that goes back seven thousand years. Nearly all the cats we have here in North America have ancestors that were brought to the "New World" in the distant past aboard ships--- their job being to catch mice and keep vermin under control on the vessels for the long voyage across the Atlantic Ocean. I was a horse's main, and when I stopped, the horse spoke to me, it used sign language though... It bumped it's nose against my chest, to get my attention, then pointed with it's nose to it's main, telling me it wanted more rumbling of it's main, but the funny thing is, is people don't talk about it, but horses really do talk in sign language :-)
