@@moldiworp9143 He got something better He got an AACTA Award for best lead actor. The EMMYs from the us would not have been what covered it. It would have been the International EMMYs but they arent even televised so the AACTA is actually a far better award that is equal to winning an Oscar here in the USA.

This brought me to tears. I don’t want to suffer when I become incapacitated. I think about it often because I’m taking care of my mom. She has severe vascular dementia. My end could be very different because I don’t have children.

I hear you. Looked after my mum for 2 years before she died. Sister committed suicide 2 christmases ago. I'm the last of my family, 60 yo and dodgy health. I'm scared of being put some where and waiting for death. I would rather pick my time

You're not alone mate. It's scary to think there's more years behind us than what's ahead. Similar story with my mum. But it's comforting to think she's in a better place just like your mum and all the family and friends we've lost along the way. No more pain, only peace. No matter how this life pans out, we'll meet them all again.@@robsmith27

One of the best, not just Australian, but world wide series ever. The characters are amazing, the actors play them to perfection and the plots are just out of this world. The thing about Ray, even though, technically he is a killer, he also has a set of rules that he lives by and has a BIG heart - ya just gotta love him!! Just shows, you do not need a massive budget, constant special effects or complicated story lines. Well done Australia............classic series. Big Jim NZ

The best, the very best series I’ve ever watched. If Ray Shoesmith was real, I’d idolise him. He is the best antidote for the idiots, bludgers, bullies and inconsiderate knobs you see every day. He could teach youngsters how to grow up and look after themselves whilst being polite, kind and caring Long live Ray
