this has got to be one of the saddest scenes ever recorded. It's so easy for any Dad to put yourself in the man's position as he opens the case. At that moment, we all were rooting for Ray.

If I remember correctly.... I need to do a rewatch of this amazing series... The guy didn't even pay for a hit, he paid Ray to locate his deceased daughter and that was it Ray killed him out of principle and because he had a daughter, that shit was never sliding with Ray. It's also the reason he was so violent with the traffickers/peados who took his friends daughter He does not play when it comes to children and we should all honestly aspire to have those values

This is probably the most harrowing scene I have ever watched. I can’t imagine the grief this man went through and then the moment of realisation, a bitter sweet ending as he finally got closure but knowing the pain his child went through.

Love the nonverbal performance. "Is he in there?" Not a word, hands him the lantern. "Thank you." Shakes his hand. Ray says nothing. He doesn't want thanks for this service. His pain for this gentleman is all in his face. Likely because Ray is the father of a little girl, and to get the remains of this man's child, stuffed in a suitcase. Too much. Wonder how bad things got in that tunnel when Ray went back in.
