Sims 1
In The Sims 1 , an electronic object can get broken with use, You can call a repairman to fix it for you. Or, Sims can choose to repair it themselves. This will build their mechanical skill. But while repairing the broken object Sims with low mechanical skill have a high chance of getting an electric shock. But if a Sim is repairing an electrical object while standing on a puddle, they will always get electrocuted. And it will always result in death.
Sims 2
In The Sims 2, one of the ways to get an electric shock is by repairing broken electronic objects with low mechanical skill. With Sims 2: Free Time this can also happen when Sims Thinker with the object. Higher risk of an electric shock have Sims with low mechanical skill. The electric shock will cause a large drop in all of a Sim's needs. Sims will be left with burnt hair and bad memory. Sometimes an electric shock can cause a fire. And if Sims get shocked more times and their needs become too low, the electric shock will result in death.
Sims 3
In the Sims 3, one of the ways to get an electric shock is by repairing broken electronic objects with low handiness skill. The chances of electric shock are higher if the Sim is standing in a puddle of water. The electric shock will cause the Sim to have burned clothing and hair. If a Sim tries to repair the objects while singed, the Sim will be electrocuted and die. There is also a chance for the object to catch on fire while repairing it
Sims 4
the ways. Sims have higher chance of getting an electric shock if they're repairing the object with low mechanical skill, or if they're doing it while standing in a puddle of water. When Sims get shocked, they will get the "Seriously Fried" moodlet for 3h. If the Sim get shocked again with the moodlet, there is a big chance they'll die.There is also a chance for the objects to catch on fire. they'll be immediately electrocuted.

The screams in the Sims 1 were way too intense lol. The first time it happened to me I was terrified. As always, I'd say the Sims 2 is perfect. It's a little bit funny but still quite terrifying. It's disappointing that they didn't even make a burnt hair thingy in Sims 4. I think it was a nice detail.

In the sims 4 I only use tvs with reliability scores of 8 or above and computers with reliability scores of 5 or above (including the ghostwriter disappearing desktop which has a reliability score of 10 and is therefore unbreakable). This reduces the frequency of repairs.

Geralmente, quando vc tem um nível muito alto com um Sim, vc consegue pedir para que esse sim peça para salvar a vida do sim que está morto. E daí aparece essa interação, se vc tiver um bom nivel de amizade a dona morte pega a alma do Sim e faz uma brincadeira para ele tentar advinhar em qual das duas mãos a alma do sim está. E claro que ele irá acertar, mas se seu Sim não tiver muita amizade ou for um inimigo do Sim, seu sim acaba errando a brincadeira e morrendo. Provavelmente o cara do vídeo, deve ter cortado a parte em que o outro Sim pede pela vida da Sim, mas se não for isso... Pq eu joguei e eu sei que era assim, mas se não for outro detalhe do Ts2 que ainda eu não sabia...
